Gamespy grrrrrr

Post by Cazaton » Wed Oct 15, 2003 2:02 am

So... the website says the servers are on line, I've free time... and gamespy is acting up. I'm able to log on fine, but then when I go to "join internet game" I get, "Gamespy disconnected, plese retry". I'm in upstate new york if that matters. Anyone know enough about NWN and/or Gamespy to tell me what is going on. I know other are on... and they aren't me

edit two minutes later then post. Now they are telling me that I "Could not connect to master server, some multiplayer servaces may not be availiable"... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Both show the servers as being off line.

Forget gamespy, I've never used it. Go to Join LAN and hit Direct Connect, type in address and pass there. If you still can't connect, exit NWN and try again.

It doesn't work... NOTHING WORKS!!!! I've tried many, many times. I was even on earlier today. I'm... I'm shaking. I think I'm going through withdrawl. I want my mommy.

edit: so of course it starts working after I go though all the trouble of starting a new post... sigh

Was having a smiliar problem. I could even see the Hala server, but none of the Avlis ones. Restarted computer, re-inited the dialup to get a new IP, problem fixed.
