I think it is well documented that the Circle Kick feat makes a character change his target focus. However, has anyone noticed since 1.32 came out that it disengages a character from melee entirely after a Circle Kick attempt is made? I don't play a monk or unarmed combatant in Avlis, but I play one in the SoU Official Campaign, and I noticed this phenomenon for the first time last night.
Anybody else ever see this? I was planning on reporting it to the official bugs forum on the Bioware site, but I wanted more input from folks who play characters with Circle Kick more frequently than I do. Thanks in advance.

A Circle Kick attempt will disengage a character from melee IF the circle kick is attempted on a target outside your normal attack range. For some reason, the monk will attempt a circle kick on a target just outside his/her melee range. While this attempt CAN hit the new enemy, the monk will then disengage from combat because the enemy now being focused on is outside the monk's attack range. If, however, the circle kick's intended target is inside the monk's melee range, the monk will then continue to attack his/her new target (well until the next round when another circle kick will be attempted)
I'd suggest bugging Bioware, maybe they'll fix it, but don't hold your breathe, Cleave has been messed up for characters with a high number of attacks per round (mostly dual-wielders) since NWN was released and I think it's still screwed. (A character with a high number of attacks often makes the cleave attempt on the creature he/she killed to GET the cleave attack in the first place)

Sheesh, they are never going to fix that, in that case. I will bug them, but I will not hold my breath.
Thanks for the wisdom, entropy, and for making thermodynamics a pain in my butt.
