Details of Vorin

Post by Nighthawk4 » Fri Sep 26, 2003 4:10 pm

I did a search for details on Vorin, but all I could find was the basic entry in the 'About' section.

Vorin N Any Knowledge and Information Lesser

Could we please have some more details?

Did a search in Google and found this.

Hello,

Any Vorin experts around please?

Suitable races, locations, classes, Saint's Day, colour of underwear, shoe size, etc. :?

Please?

Dear Vorin,
what colour should my underwear be?

It's pretty easy to figure out what they wear by looking at all the priests and monks of Vorin in the Mikona Library. Classes and races are irrelevant otherwise, so long as the free exchange of knowledge is supported. What else do you want to know?

I have a quick question that pertains to Vorin and the Romini.

I am planning on starting up a Romini Bard Loremaster who would worship both Mikon (as all Romini do) but secondarily Vorin. Is this reasonable?

Also do Romini read and write?

Yeah that's doable. Romini don't have as high a literacy as others, but they can read/write if they were taught, like anyone.

While we talking about Vorin, would it be un fair to suggest that Angadar would be the idealogical opposite of Vorin, as Angadar is in favour of Knowledge, but for one's own gain, where as Vorin is about the sharing of information

Yes, that's very fair. Angadar is all about knowledge = Power. A veritable Bill Gates, if you will. Vorin is just like the guy who invented GNU-LINUX.
