history of tnanshi, spirits etc
in the book "a history of tnanshi" it mentions spirits that have been around since before the 9 gods and the negerai came to avlis. It said that the word tnanshi means spirit land, approximately. I was wondering if there was any more information about these spirits that could be released, made up etc. I know Orl is busy, but Vrosh sort of has the idea that he is one of them. (i actually decided this before i saw the book but the book is a basis that would work out.) would it be considered cheesing if vrosh thought/dillusional/was he was one of these spirits? whatever you feel like talking about would be great.

just cobbled together some quotes from Orl that seem relevent....
"After the Supreme God created Avlis, he populated it with many different kinds of nature spirits. There were no mortals, and almost all of the spirits attached themselves to some kind of favored natural formation or area. Peace and harmony reigned on the planet for a long time"
"...the Supreme populated the world with primitive gods. These were all peaceful and orderly gods that had limited control over a certain natural formations, such as ponds or groves. Each of them was perfect in every detail, and the Supreme was happy with the way they would attend to their areas while worshipping him."
"The nine prisons were scattered all over Avlis. Slave labor was needed for the construction, and he would need guards after the construction was complete. So, the Negarai imported various lesser Tana'ri to do the work. These denizens would watch over the idol humans when he was elsewhere. Now after the construction was done, the leftover lesser Tana'ri who were not guarding prisoners, were allowed to roam the planet to do anything they pleased. With hoards of lesser Tana'ri roaming the planet, the order that the Supreme created was put into severe jeopardy. The Dretches were multiplying and gating in larger demons who in turn gated in even larger demons...and so on. Eventually, things got really out of hand on Avlis and the lesser gods of nature were annihilated".
and when someone asked about worshipping the Supreme, Orl said ...
"You can worship the Supreme, but you would be the first to do so. The Supreme is the name of the over deity that created Avlis, but he really doesn't need any worshippers. This is fine however. You can develop this as part of your character."

The spirits sorta suffered the same fate as the neanderthal men here on Earth. They used to be plentiful, but something (the Negearai's demons) wiped all of them out (from the main continent at least). Before they were totally gone, they had a chance to interbreed a bit though. Search on Khanjar Kuro and Tyedu. Though I probably have not published the entire story of Khanjar Kuro on the web yet.
So, no, I would not play one. They are an entirely different race, and they are all immortal, about equal with Hero status, which is about one notch below demi-god.
