Trade Fair

Post by Darkfire » Mon Apr 03, 2017 3:09 am

Good deals, lots of people. That big auction had me yelling, cheering, and cussing at my screen! I'm fairly confident between Friday-Sunday I played a good 30+ hours.

Lots of fun guys! Hell its still going on now, lol :prost:

I always will +1 a fair rave. The deals were great, and so was the company. I came out of it with gold left too!

One question though... Do you have any other surprises from your noob years hidden in Gracie's bags Katroine? :P

Don't think we'll see an auction like that again for a very long time (25 million might be a new record too). :feuer:

Well organized, a great flow to the events. I don't know which day I had the most fun on but I know I spent every dime I had. Just a whole ton of fun and great items all around. Thanks !

The Trade Fair was awesome!
I am so glad I got a chance to attend.

The decor, the drinks/food, the people, all the entertainment, it was just fantastic. I loved Leanne's auction/gamble too. Great idea!

It was a great fair and I enjoyed every minute of it, I hopped in and out with several pc's and each one had a great experience. huge raves to the organizers and of course all the DM's who added the little spices that make a good event great.

A great faire, indeed! The stalls were all rented out, with the usual suspects and some newer merchants putting their merchandise up for the shoppers.

I enjoyed the book merchant, everyone seems to like the little touches like that, and the snacks/decorations added a lot to the atmosphere.

I missed the first half of auction day on Sunday, but the creative auction types were a break from the norm (roll closest to a number to buy it for a predetermined price, one shot bidding, and so on).

There was a lot of effort all around by staff and players to make it fun and engaging, and it showed. Thanks to all of you!

I couldn't make all of it, either, but what I saw was fantastic. Some of my favourite things (and there were many more) included:
* The huge gnomish food machines
* The uniqueness of all the stalls, especially Rosaline's patterened offerings
* Seeing people's interpretation of Forian and fool in their costumes
* The creativity of how some merchants advertised their wares
* The fowl deities of the realms
* My first Zoobza and Pandora line - and how people kept each other entertained while waiting
* That lowbie and midbies were able to participate in auctions
* Tulip's gifts :D

I was glad I got to attend the hours I did. I wish heartily I could have seen more.

I also feel all warm and fuzzy. :D

Avlis rocks because of the work each and every one of you put into it. No part is too small. Thank-you all

Loved the games and the costumes! Even the not standing line with the others standing in line was fun. :)
