A word about "WHEN" questions

Post by Orleron » Sat Mar 15, 2003 3:11 am

WHEN will X place/temple/shrine/race/class/country go in? Will there ever be X place/temple/shrine/race/class/country?

I get these questions a lot. The answer to them is all about the same. Avlis is a big big world, and I plan to do ALL of it someday. Look on the map in the Map thread and you will see a political drawing of the continent we now play on. I plan to eventually do all of that landmass, and another landmass that is not represented there, in time.

In that landmass somewhere, ALL Avlis gods/temples/shrines/races/classes/countries are represented. So whatever/whoever/wherever you would like to see WILL get done someday if all goes as planned.

To make it more clear, here is a list of the planned servers in approximate order of implementation:

Mikona, Wilderness, Elysia, Le'Or T'Nanshi, Deglos, The Kurathene Empire, The City of Kuras, Ferrell, Brekon, The Seven Cities, Tyedu, Dubunat/Toran Shaarda, Drotid, Galdos, Jechran, The Wastelands.

This is a tentative order, and you also have to realize that if there is ever a large city that we decide to do, it may get its own mod just like Mikona, Elysia, and Le'Or T'Nanshi. So as you can see from the list above, your particular area of concern WILL get here someday so long as NWN and I survive.

So Ferrell got pushed up the list - well deserved too. Ferrell is stunning

Please could we have Jechran a bit further up the list?

Other players insert name of favourite location here......
Please can we have Insert Name of Location next?

Ferrell really wasn't bumped up. It was more like I pestered the big guy until he gave me the OK to work on it independantly..

now back to our originally scheduled development plan... :P

Screw Jechran, there are already enough overbearing and obnoxious women with superiority complexes running around Avlis... we don't need even more in the form of NPCs!!

:P

(Yes, I'm a jackass. )

I love Ferrel. I want my halfling to have one of those little hobbit like homes in the side of the hill. ;)

Dunno about the modeling on the interior of hte Hobbit Hovels, but my character is already in the process of getting a cottage built in Ferrell... just need to get info back from Vanor.

Dude, that quote is really disturbing...
"Don't worry, I'll have it all figured out by the time we reach the Frontier..."
"So what's that over there?"
"The Frontier..."

Its from the song "Bone Machine" by the pixies.

LMP: "That sounds ridiculous enough to be fan fiction." Zaroas: "Even worse; its canon."

That doesn't change the fact that it's disturbing...
