Huge thanks for Team and Refresh your Old Character. Seriously awesome idea all around and well done.
Huge thanks to the community at large for how they accept refreshers. Love the whole 'hidden talent' RP and lots of other encouraging RP I've heard and from a few others. You let our refreshes do their new thing with encouragement and support of them in their new directions.
Huge thanks to the Refreshers at large. It is a brave new world out there.
If your thinking about doing it then do it. What if way way way back in those early days if you changed direction cause of IG influences and went another way but couldn't for whatever reason; alts don't excite you and you got NH4 amount of them that you have tried and tried but just don't do it for you like your main does. Now you can take that different direction and it is one of the most exciting character aspects out there.
FYI: Very happy puppeteer of a very happy refreshed puppet
GAME ON!

I don't have a refresh but I am loving seeing the new directions characters are taking and how they change. It's awesome.

This has been really popular! I counted 18 completed refreshes (18!!!), several more pending. All kinds of characters have done it, some for RP, some for builds, most for bits of both. Also, from what I see, regular players are leveling at reasonable (read: too quick for my old fashioned tastes) pace. This is shaping up very nicely!
Like Gute said, if you are thinking about it, do it.

I gotta say, it's just awesome. I've had Rick at 40th level for a long time (years) and playing him got really old. What do you do with a guy who is at the peak but just let him fade away? But the refresh put new life into the character and brought me back to Avlis. I get to level, I get to build him the way he should have been built, I get to do something with an old war veteran to give him direction and purpose that he couldn't get before, and going into dungeons is actually not a guaranteed win for him. There's an actual risk that he could die!!! It's added elements back to the game that were lost with him maxed out.

Love seeing all the ic posts on character development after these. Awesome work, and a great idea!
