lost XP on alt

lost 125,345 xp when i was trying to unlock the WM class after i put stuff in a forge to making iron ingots i lost the XP. I have a screen shot of the XP lost but i don't have a program to open a TGA file.

would like to know how about going to get the XP back.

Don't know about the XP-problems, but IrfanView, http://www.irfanview.com, is a good, free program to view TGAs and a lot of other things. You can also convert between formats.

This is know to happen, had the same thing happen to me once. just ask a dm nicely.

This happens because you had more then 2 levels worth of xp banked, keep in mind that you also won't gain any more xp from kills as long as you didn't take these levels. scripted and dm xp you will still gain.

Thanks for the program to see the TGA file.

If a DM would like to help me on this i am going to be around playing.

Time is currently 6:10 est time. most liking be playing until 10 est. Currently playing on hala with Osric kratos.

i'll check back regularly if there is any up date.

That link from the rules forum has more info on what ShadowViper was talking about, and it has been coded in IIRC. You didn't give any specifics to your situation, so I don't know if it applies, but the DMs are great at sorting that stuff out.

I was in the process of making my alt a weapon master using the quest in mikona, i haven't played him in a few years and log on and got a ton of XP and i was finishing up the Weapon master quest to level him up. upon making a few items for the quest using the forge auto load the character lost all the xp but 2 levels. the total xp lost was 125354.

hope this could be sorted out. will be unfortunate if it could not be.
