Okie dokie Peeps !!!

Thanks to Krackq and PJ, our new servers are ready for stress testing, as in, we need to go in beat the hell out of them !! The teams been testing everything for a few weeks now, but we really need to put some strain on these babies.

You can rp if you like, but for now its OCC there, we need everything you can think of tested.. and as many of you on as we can in large numbers so dms can try to kill you help you test if its gonna hold us all in full swig. If there are no dms about, grab them from IRC, announce times you want to grab people in the calender, and all try to hook up, and do.. stuff :D

Nothing you do affects Main Avlis in an RP sense, or your PCs state, so if you ever wanted to go kill everyone in Le'or.. nows your chance! Wreak the servers! Chaos! Good news!
DMs can easily reset them :wink:

Alright, the new hosting has the latest copies of the mods and has a copy of the Vault, Game database and Alpha DB as of 3/4/2014. If someone was off-world with their character at that time, they won't be able to log in with that character.

People can log in and try whatever they wish except portaling off-world.

Going to be up for testing for at least a week. Feel free to post here if you find something dodgy, or whatever. Make threads if you like also.

For this time, I am going to open my private team TS3 channel to the playerbase, so those brave enough to talk to each can communicate faster, hopefully DMs will also be in there.

Thanks to QA and dm staff for your testing so far.. please feel free to boss around the players while test stressing.

QA staff should be consulted in this test as they know what has been done or not, and are badass :)

So how about we have a big, multi-DM, as-many-PCs-as-possible, TS3-enhanced, mega-Battle?

Strictly OOC, so bring whatever you have, regardless of IC affiliations and we spawn as many NPC monsters as possible and TPK you all - and maybe TPK the server as well.

There has been an amazing amount of work that's gone into this behind the scenes and I'm very excited that we get to show it off to the whole community now. Let's beat it up, bandage it, and then roll it out as the official Avlis server hosting.

Hi all,

Just a heads-up that at this time not all modules on the new server represent the latest versions. eg. you can disregard any oddities with the Mikona Marketplace and Robsin Pass.

Just as FYI as we weren't sure if relevant, but not everything merges with all shifter forms on the test servers. Seems to be the original merging 'rules'

Did some testing today putting down the rebellion I set up yesterday and the npc's were based on npc soldiers, defender faction I believe. When we would attack the npc's they would only go hostile per what seemed to be a line of sight policy. Unsure if bug or feature.

Since RCon is a humble fellow, I take this opportunity to point out that he kindly reset Deglos, Ferrell, and Wilderness. Those and Mikona are now up to speed. Passing the torch for volunteers to reset the Underdark, Visimontium, Le'Or, M'Chek and Elysia when possible.

Also there was a report of the ammo toggle system not functioning correctly, can this be tested again?
