RPotM June 2011 ~ RESULTS

Post by Plethora » Fri Jul 08, 2011 5:00 am

Alrighty, the guy everyone loves to hate.. or hates to love.. or whatever love/hate mindgame he catches you in, in First place, the one the only

:fressen: :fressen: :fressen: Geris' Grey :fressen: :fressen: :fressen:

And coming up hot on his heels this month

:cooler: :cooler: :cooler: Elutian :cooler: :cooler: :cooler:

Congrats to both, and thank you to everyone who voted and commented this month!

Teh Comments...

Ayren Milen: Nob pwns Avlis with sheer writing skill, not to mention he's a lore god with an imagination to rival the immortals.

Gurkz - Always in character, always spot on. Heres to the furry gnoll.

What can I say, he is magnanimous and malevolent all at the same time. A masterfully crafted, a roleplayed, character who is not above or below any action- you will never be bored stalking Geris Grey.

Sal... my train-wreck of a gal's favorite boy in black. He showed her that Mellowsmoke is much better than Moonshine for dulling the pain and keeping her mouth shut. This is a very important lesson.

Lute... well he is just getting cooler by the moment. Tough decisions and all he is coming through it with a smile still on his face.

Liam makes all situations more fun!

Geris seems to be everywhere these days! A complex character played to perfection. More!

Angus for still being an Ass!

Vintrinia lights up the world with her subtle manipulations, and her focused discipline. A truly epic character

June she remains the innocent little girl

Basto: An easily frightened handyman - v. funny.

Another ridiculous month! I thought last month was hard to pick, but this month left me with even more choices! Kudos to everybody for their energy and effort!

Keekee-Great to play with, brilliant RP

Andrew Fears-Ebul with a touch of insanity, need I say more?

Fabello is simply fabulous, dahling. Great to have to playing again Blizzow.

Beck Dattian, priest of booze. A great idea for a character, and fun to play with. I'm looking forward to more, Paco

I had some fabulous roleplay with Kice this month. Squarefox’s writing is fabulous, and really brings the character to life. Highly recommended!
If you haven't played with brave focused June then you haven't played with a halfling whose totally devoted to playing a support character. Playing with June is always a pleasure and an experience.

Micah, what can I say ... she's a bitch. She's in the White, she screws up but she tries really hard to be in the White.

Geris 'Grey: Epic read in character journal and extremely well played character. A touch of emo to dazzle the ladies and a touch of OMGWTFBBQPWN to impress the gents.

Nad'ja.... the poor lost soul. She just wants a friend. Everytime she starts to get close to someone, something goes horribly wrong. Seems like she may have found a place to call home though.

Solveig is great to speak with from an evil perspective, so full of righteousness but willing to at least hear another perspective whether she agrees with it or not.

Zven is great to see him back pedal when in the presence of a mage of far greater power in areas he knows little about.
Bedlam Dender: Bedlam never fails to surprise, definately one of my favorites of all time.

Lute just keeps on getting better and better, a character of real depth and colourful background that keeps the surprises coming...

Raney is one of those characters that brighten your day when you come across them, deeply seated in Avlis lore and an integrated part of the world...

Linthel is scary. One of those people that you never know what he's going to do. Smile at you? Shake your hand? Decapitate you? Really. Also, his player gets a bonus from me for thinking outside the box of the mechanics of the game. Using things in ways not intended to add to RP. Really, really interesting character to RP with.

Jenny Hallendon, this one is a mystery. Is she good? or is she just a bitch? I'm not sure if she even knows! Either way, lots of fun RP with this one.

Moriand Dias... The Cowboy, the lone Wolf, whatever you call him. Mori is a blast. Unpredictable and probably unstable, he keeps everyone guessing and on their toes.

Rosemary: she should come with a warning label!

Ni'arthin has been a helpful part of so many things lately, and that's just from the limited stuff I can see! He has a true presence, a gentle influence and a work ethic roleplay that I admire (perhaps even envy!).

Lute is so cool, Verossa had to set him on fiah!

The Warrior Maidens for continuing to remain active and even growing during the lean times

Selle for staying “IC” even to the point of running off another Verossian follower

Victor reminds me of a used car salesman with his ads! Buy NOW; these prices will never come again!! NEVER!! (*at least until the next sale*)

Teleniel for not giving up and continuing to try and make stuff happen in the UD; evil gangs ftw!!

Mika’s concept is among the least stereotypical I have known, and is extremely well played. I am certain she is a challenge for the player, and I hope the rewards of her RP are manifold.

Thienna seems to be a centerpiece of my roleplay experiences lately. I have enjoyed our interactions immensely, as well as the rapport (positive or negative) developed between our characters. I am anticipating more fun in the future!
Liam Dald of Mikona - chronicler, warrior, man-about-town. That guy sure can weave a tale, and he's the only man I'd turn Quickie for.

When he isn't killing me with his Disco Dance of Death, Geris 'Grey keeps surprising me with his evolving depth. Fun, scary, crazy - kind of like that ex-GF you just can't shake.

Clickies great fun ig and her picture journal on the boards always rocks!

After years of brief bump-ins, veiled threats of combustion, and dirty looks, I have finally had a chance to spend some real time roleplaying with Deo. The circumstances could not have been better timed nor the dialogues better scripted! Deo exhibits the sort of exalted-style good that makes your skin crawl, yet has flaws enough that one is left with a sense of real depth after playing with her. It should go without saying that Pleth is a genius, but she deserves to hear explicitly that Deo is amazing. Head DMs don’t get nearly enough playtime, afterall. We gotta show them the love!

Selle Galleaf is a wonderfully rich, well played character. Her puppeteer’s creativity and enthusiasm add substantial depth to the casual, social, and roleplay elements of my avlis experience. Thanks for another fun month!

Elutian gave me one of the best casual conversations I have had in months. Cheers!

Nad’Ja’s player deserves a medal. Being willing to risk your character’s concept for the sake of new development can be downright terrifying! What I have seen IG has really impressed me.

I am an avid follower of the tales of the kobold Clickie and always enjoy seeing her in game. Her player deserves a round of applause for making the utmost of a novel character concept and challenging OOC circumstances. Looking forward to seeing more.
The character Xzar has grown considerably in maturity lately making him much more effective and enjoyable to be around. I heartily approve of the growth.

Selle is always clever, light hearted fun .

Eudaimon Dawnblade. My favorite psion. His character is very well grounded in the elements that make him human, despite the strange circumstances that define him. I always enjoy my time with him, even if some of my characters don’t.
Geris is always a pleasure to RP around, and Adonis always makes me chuckle. Yarr!

Honorable mention goes to several members of the ‘I have mental powers’ club: Glenda, Dawnblade, Kurn, June, Celinda, Kice, and Straccio. You have all been great.

I am also giving honorable mention to all those mage players out there busting their asses on this crazy plot.
