RPotM January 2011 RESULTS!!!

Post by Belasco » Tue Feb 08, 2011 4:02 am

Storming into 1st place:

Bella Lillygarden

Tying it up for 2nd as only these two possibly could... if you know what I mean:

Alexis Dufresne Montjoie
and
Maululani jael MacMurray

Honorable Mentions

I want to give a big shout out to the CTS people.  You guys make for great roll play even when we are struggling with the mechanics. :D

Comments

Tul the Terrible: I don't know about the Tul part, but he's definitely more Terrific than Terrible. Keep an eye on this one.

Elith'Rakka Eriluival (Specter): This vote is long overdue. I've had a chance to interact with lots of LE characters in general and monks in particular, but Halvar's attention to detail, consistency in Specter's behaviour, patient intelligence and depth make this character outstandingly alive.

Warmaster, Speaker, Hero, Thorfinn has been outstanding this month for me, in all of his roles. A truely inspiring IG leader, who never fails to please and impress.

Props to Fletcher, who has come back with a vengence this month, with suberb RP and constant endurance at whatever is thrown at his life, his town and his guild. Welcome to Zvidureth, biatches!

The RP and companionship between Finn and Fletcher is hysterical, and keeps me laughing everytime I find them together. Awesome!

The charasmatic Silver Fox must come in for honorable mention, outstanding RP everytime.. There can be only one  :)

Shout out to Eklektikos, and ~all~ of his PCs, I get happy everytime I see him log in.

So in love with Bella Lilygarden.. OMG, I want one!

Bella is awesome!  Never misses a beat, always there with an attitude and a "Har!"  What a great character concept and so well played, loads of fun and there is a lot of depth there and story too, once you get past the twigs in the hair and the surly disposition.

Tessa Tangletoe is such a unique character.... very "real" she gets scared, she gets nervous, she gets mad.  She is a prolific maker of things, and a great teacher to others.  Wonderful to RP with, and has come a looong way, but has arrived!

Ari, Alana, what's her face... doesn't matter what ya call her she is in your face out of control non-stop RP'in fun!

Bella... what can you say? I LOVE RP'in with this char! Bella is blunt and full of "it" whatever "it" may be. Merry is such a contrast and let's the Bella slip out at the best times! LOVE IT!

Yarrrr!

I love Ash pink tails and all:P,

Kurns always fun to play with and he has a maul too
maul power!

The one. The only. The Silver Fox.

MJ is a pleasure to be around.  Always in character and willing to lend a hand when needed.

Raar Yuwmax: Fantastic RP'er and one of the new people I've come across on my return back.  Ony detested him at first but over time has grown to like hima lot.  He plays a low intelligent Ogre fantastically well and the simple of statements are the funniest.  These types of characters make Avlis more alive.

Linthel en'Atta Megil: Wonderfull, wonderfull character, dark, nasty, poisonous.  Really gives you the feel that anything can happen at any moment.  Plays a Sereg how Silk would of played a Sereg I think.  Very much an un-song character stuck down in the Underdark, so if you have the chance to roleplay with this character, then take it! :)

A low-key and unassuming PC, Solveig has a lot more depth to her than may be apparent at first glance and is played pitch-perfectly and entertainingly.

The almost disqualifyingly recent return of mad lightningelf Lilliana Be'letane is cause for joy.

Bella Lillygarden is an amazing concept.  I am really looking forward to watching this Verossan develop.

Rain M. - you give me warm fuzzes.

Tessa Tangletoes - its about the flying goop.

Selle is like a Boston cream doughnut. When you get to know her you discover a wonderfully portrayed character, rich with personality and mannerisms, as enjoyable as a chocolate pastry. Then once you really get inside her head, the intricacies and depth of feeling that had lain previously undiscovered there bring a surprise of creamy yellow RP, thicker and more truly involving than what was ever anticipated, making her my first RPOtM vote ever.

Salamander is consistently the stoic straight-laced personality I expect to see from the commander of the front line troops of Torori'Neva. He bears his burdens with a thick skinned  grim mannerism that would be the envy of modern military men. His contempt comes across beautifully, with little need for words to show his disgust with those who waste his time and lack his discipline.

Crow may very well be the ultimate downfall for my main, but the RP will have been entirely worth it!

Lance isn't always in game, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been up to things.  Overall a very well played Champion who seems to be able to roll with the punches.

It was a rather strange series of events this that led my PC's life to intertwine with Ernst, but it's been some of the best RP I've had on Avlis/CoPaP in years and pulled me out of the slump I was having playing my PC.  Rock on!

Alexis Dufresne Montjoie!  You've shown us all how to be ASSes, and for that I thank you.  An excellent character in-game and in writing.

woo for my dragoncuties!

Cassandra Aske continues to grow, adapt and change.  The character has literally evolved in response to IG events; vote for her, neighbor!

Davilla made some hard IC choices recently to do “the right thing” and bravo to her for it!  RP away!

Honorable mentions this month to: Delurion, Diablolina, Jillanae

An MIA report for the following players (that is, a call for them to return ~ if you know them, tell them they are missed and please come back!): Glenda, Kory

I'm voting for MJ. She puts in the effort IG, plays a very solid character...yet somehow keeps getting overlooked. No more! This vote is for you, MJ.

I'm tossing up a vote for "Eklektikos". It's unfair to choose just one of his characters, when it's "Roleplayer of the Month", not "Character of the Month". His characters are all great. I say! Eh?

I love Anders and Uuc!
