Very nice, works out great as I need to reinstall on my desktop as it seems to need the DVD to run again. But I am waiting for the installer link to be fixed.

Great job to all those involved!

http://www.javaforge.com/displayDocumen ... c_id=73446 for the current avlis_v1.rar
http://www.javaforge.com/displayDocumen ... c_id=73635 for the current copap_v2.rar

Both found on http://www.javaforge.com/proj/doc.do?doc_id=73240 under installers. Looks like MadK@ changed the needed files page a bit early as far as the installer thing, since it says coming soon now.

Ok, now I am slightly confused...

MadKat listed 8 files in the first post:
avlis_tileset_v1.hak
avlis_tilem1_v1.hak
avlis_tilem2_v1.hak
avlis_tilet1_v1.hak
avlis_tilet2_v1.hak
avlis_main1_9a.hak
avlis_main1_9b.hak
copaptlk_4_9.tlk

And then Gorgon linked 2 files in the last post
avlis_v1.rar
copap_v2.rar

Which ones do I need?

Also, since I am asking questions...
Can I just delete everything currently in my hak and tlk folders and then put in the above files? (I have 62 haks and 3 tlks right now, but no idea what any of them are for. Also, if it helps, I only play on Avlis at this point.)

And, for some reason, I can not view all of the posts on page 1 of this thread. I can see all of MadKat's post (23rd post on the page) and I can tell that NightHawk made a post after it, but it cuts off just below the name...

The ones I linked were in response to Cougar asking where the current installers are (the stuff we use right now, not the new files linked by MadK@ that will go live shortly).

You don't need the ones I linked unless you just reinstalled and want the current haks.

AFAIK the new ones are not live yet, so best not to delete the current ones for now

Silly question, but these replace all the avlis haks right? I can get rid of all the others (avlis ones that is)? (I have a HAK folder >>1Gb so anything I can cut is welcome, it might speed things up a bit)

The full list of everything needed on all of Avlis after they go live is here: http://wiki.avlis.org/Needed_files#Requ ... LL_Servers

Short answer, yes :)

All the ones below in the table without a yes next to them will be gone (you can delete them).

I'll probably end up just deleting my hak folder (or at least most of it) and then installing the new ones.

If only my Hak folder was lucky enough to have an owner who would cleanse it in such a manner, it wouldn't be so ridiculously huge right now.

Aren't the standard CoPaP haks still needed?

Yes the copap haks are still required. There will be an update to the copap haks before the end of the year.

I say we have a contest to see who has the largest hak folder. I bet I won't win though. 13.08GB.

I proudly stand at 1,3 GB (compressed from 2,4 GB) ... in other words, am I a neat-freak.

Only 11.55 GB in CXG bottle, but another 8.61 GB in the folder under wmware fusion... so 20.16 GB on one physical drive... yes, I really do have 2 complete installs of NWN running on the same machine. The price I pay for having switched from Windows to MacOS...

...I really should clear out some of the old haks!

18.5 GB, and I haven't even unpacked these haks yet *whistles*

I'll actually be glad if there's a touch of reduction. :)

7.94 GB

Edit - I have one normal installation copied to my Mac from the Windows box, plus two separate Wineskin bottles, one for PC and one for DM.

The value above is just the size of the hak folder, not the whole thing

21.7 GB including the game and erf's. But I had a couple PW's I had built/half-built before joining CoPaP. I just threw out a gig's worth of mods too, last week. Only mod I have left, is my boss' old mod (Darkness Over Daggerford).
