Good Monitor

Post by Albion » Thu Sep 09, 2010 9:32 pm

My old CRT monitor is getting ready for the great Desktop in the sky and needs replacing soon. So any recommendations for a good monitor to replace it.

Price is not a major consideration but needs to be reasonable and I don't want another CRT Monitor.

I generally use either HP or Acer. Have yet to have any qualms with any of them. As you stated that price is not going to be a major issue, I would also throw Asus in there. The prices for flat monitors has dropped considerably as well, so you have that working in your favor also.

One of my favorite places for computer accessories:

In this particular case, the search was for best rated monitors.

Hope this helps!

I have a 21" LG flat screen which is excellent.

I am happy with my samsung monitors. I have a 26" and a 19", both were defect free and have clear pictures.

Ditto. Fairly inexpensive, too.

I use an 22" LG and 19 " LG wide screens both have been problem free but came with no cables other than the power cable.. fairly cheep for either now..because refresh rates have doubled on the new monitors.
I also have a 23" acer widescreen, bought for my kid in aprill for her BD it was a heck of a price and came with both vga and dvi cables.. also problem free other than its base is a bit wobbly for my liking..

Got a Samsung P2370 a year or so ago, and have enjoyed it immensely.

I can't recommend the Samsung 22" 226BW highly enough.
