June 2010 RPotM RESULTS!

Post by Belasco » Sat Jul 10, 2010 12:58 am

Blazing into 1st place none other but

Sonja Pyre

Sharing the second place spotlight two more amazing Avlis ladies

Aiko Heartfire and Selle Galleaf

Comments!

If “no votes” can be counted for Cassandra Aske, then add this “no vote” to that tally.

A lot of good candidates during the last month, but the DM’s during the last month have been great: I know they can’t get votes, but, by god, they deserve special mention and a shout out!

Glenda has reticulated relevant coordinates directly to my heart.

Gurky, Cause hes got to get to the Makings, bitchs!

Kory is like your favourite brand of beer, you know what to expect, you know how you're gonna react, but does that make it any less fun? ... Nope

Rhiss however is like an advert for beer... (if you listen to adverts that is)

Ang and Yenefer. For... yeah. Stuff.

I finally got a glimpse into the 'badder' side of a sickly sweet Kandi treat. I liked it.

Isa tends to always bring a smile to my face when I chance to run into her. Right now; that's a real good thing - just like her RP.

Garthond: Great RP, doesn't require a dm to give a fantastic performance.

Bedlam: Always has something creative to bring to the table, and is a source of inspiration to every wild mage.

Evelynn is a picture-perfect mage: curious, studious, and willing to work for the power she will surely master.

Ear'kootzet Di'amana- For playing his role and putting up with all the crap. He deserves it.

Moriand reminds me of an old-school cowboy, someone to whom the road is home and who can turn a blind eye to the violent world around him or respond to what he sees with decisive action.

Yenefer Urgash is reasonable, compulsive, and knife-edge sharp. She can be a real thorn in your side, especially if that's what the doctor ordered

Aeveras- For always, always, always keeping the bar high and never ever dropping it.

Keekee and Zaid, Keekee and Zaid! They're like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich of kobold awesomeness

Gurky: well i still gotta post some screenies but the sheer randomness of his reactions are just Golden.

Yenefer: Had some close interactions ever since she was a little young orc. Saved her once and after all these years she sees the true colors of some people

Tall's behaviour makes me uncomfortable enough to realize how difficult it is to truly act out one's character's beliefs when the world seems to be against them.

Selle and Teleniel: Like Rhubbarb and Radish... Commentary anonymity FTW!

When he shows up, avlis servers start to live. He is like defibrillator shock - painful but brings you back to life. I vote for Angus de respirator!

Tall is back in game, but he still has this spark of being asshole. We need more evil assholes!

Selle and Zet: MORTAL KOMBAAAAT

Sonya and Aiko :Together they are form the Storm of Chaos. Never a dull moment when they are around doesn't matter when or where. They play off each other like peanut butter and jelly

Foolish Warmbloodss! How DARE you thinkss you can cook betterss then Drotid's Own Athrasan, ssaa!

Glenda. Is there anything else to say? I think not! And if you indeed require something else to understand why she gets voted, clearly you haven't met her!

Nemise, a charming sorceress from Catara. A really interesting character that leads to both great times chatting, and fun excursions if you instead want some action! If you haven't already, seek her out and say hi!

KeeKee (known to us as CLICKY!) has been a great delight to RP with. That not-so-little kobold is tougher then she looks and fiercer then most believe!

I love Selle's RP style.

Kory, leader of the Warrior Maidens: her RP the last month has had depth of feeling and passion, showing a troubled person, carrying more burdens than they should. Her portrayal of a “troubled leader” during the entire Jechran refugee scenario was realistic, moving and compelling.

Glenda (something really long starting with a “B”:)) is a very interesting character. Her ‘mechanical exterior’ is worth interacting with, to see the “real” character underneath.

Aiko Heartfire - Aiko's mood changes with the wind. At times she is a bubbly flirt and a few moments later her temper flares. She is an enemy to be feared and a friend to be adored.

Eve is just great

Eleanor-without a doubt an amazingly well played character that goes beyond what is comfortable personally to play true to what a certain adorable, stubborn, Dre'ana-loving elf would do.

Fletcher has once again shown so much depth of character this month. A much more subtle character then many would think. Beware the Shadowblade.

Rose is an amazingly deep character, beautiful to watch blossom over time. May she always be in glorious bloom!

Nawen - One of the oldest and continually played characters on Avlis. For the most part she is soft spoken but bet on her wrong side and her tongue is sharper than her sword. The character evolved to a merchant and teacher offering classes in many of the crafting skills just for the RP value.

Kassha is more fun than a barrel of displacer beasts.

Picked Sonja, cause, well, its Sonja we're talking about there. I have the best RP with her and, its just enjoyable to be around her.

Ashling, cos she's always pretty in pink

Aiko, I really couldn't remember her last name, because of the new names they got with Vic, I just remember first names mostly when I meet. But Aiko is equally as much fun to RP with. Especially reading the "In the Le'Or Tower", her and sonja's rp with vic in that thread is just amazing

fuggit, Orf for RPotM! One bad dude, and a true character in both language and action. I'm putting Ernst down for my other, wot?

Aeveras and Tilk are absolutely outstanding every single time. The simple country charm, easy smile and friendly nature makes them natural RP magnets which adapt to just about any well conceived character. When I play new characters I try to exploit the opportunity to get out there and meet and interact with more of the community but some characters just draw you back in.

Glenda is just amazing.. truly amazing !

both of these players have made the recent Red Order Election both exciting and enriching. With Archibald, you aren't sure what side he's playing. Kurn is always up for an adventure and makes my character remember her roots.

Keekee really goes to trouble to make me know what it is like to be a kobold, going much further than just elongating sibilants and cowering, as one would expect from a 'typical' kobold.

Eleanor and really all of the maidens have never stopped doing a great great job at being the handmaidens of the lowbie alt, the newbie and whatever else needs a hand or an ear in Elysia. I could just as easily say Pantera, Shercha and others. I just had the GREAT fortune of interacting a lot with Eleanor lately. Good stuff.
