March 2010 RPotM RESULTS!

Post by Belasco » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:01 am

Love him or Hate him you can always count on our First Place winner to get a strong reaction! Winning in a landslide victory we have the unforgettable...

Angus Blacksail

Forcibly taking 2nd place, with the most votes I've ever seen for 2nd!, we have none other than the mysterious, tenacious, and often creepy...

Cassandra Aske

Congratulations to this month's wicked(ly) awesome duo!

Comments!

I've not laughed so much whilst playing Avlis as I have with Dillon and Liam. They are great to play with, either in their terrible twosome or apart. Yarr!

Thorfinn is always outstanding and is one of the cornerstones for player interaction for Tnanshi, we salute you Moontree! Yarr!!!

Karna and Theo have very long names that can, mercifully, be shortened to snappy, go-getting Heroes Names. Other than that, they're both absolute gems, to be cherished and encouraged.

Etzeth: Nine kinds of awesome

Keekeekeekeekeekee!

Tomas Kelthran for his great MDF drive. Got Valok?

Radric :A great dwarf with a greater appetite and noble character

Watching the maelstrom of mayhem that swirls around Angus Blacksail is a fascinating passtime.

Alice has taken to Avlis like a duck to water. I look forward to seeing where she ends up.

Rali’ and Findail- Both characters show great creativity and a willingness to try to make things fun for others as well.
To top that the roles played are in both cases extremely well onsistently done over a long time.

El'gos Longstride - there is more to this character than I thought.

Aside from being one hellfire crazy bint, Keaira is a chick you can always count on to throw you for a loop. Whether it's "shrumper corn", multiple body bags, or just that chilling laugh that says "I wonder what's going to happen next!", it's key to stay on your toes with that Pandora's Box of a character.

Silver Fox is one of the most consistent, thoughtful and enjoyable characters to be found anywhere

Angus Blacksail keeps on catching me out of surprise. Surely, the character I play is surprised even more but not much more than me myself.

It's been forever and a day since I have secretly craved to cast a vote in for Bobby Wallace. He has aged niiicely. The bastard.

Danga Spiketongue (Spike) is my new favorite bard!

There are some great newer PCs floating around lately, but Keekee is definitely one of the tops!

Not just a man of Opportunity, Fletcher has a real depth and feeling of realness to him, and just keeps getting better.

Angus is a great drunk and chaotic as it can be.

Miriel Whateverthefuckherlastnameisnowadays is more than an Avlis tradition, she's like a rite of passage. You haven't fully experienced this PW until you've interacted with her. I waited several years to do so, and I find myself asking "what were you thinking, dude?" She's top notch all around.

Alden abjures and is very short. What more need be said?

Kelthran - wielder of the Beard of Glory. Let none stand in his path.

Angus has the bastard douchebag role down to a T. It's almost uncanny how well that comes across in the game, you'd almost think the player had some first hand experience with it.

Not played that often, but whenever I play with Seka I have a great time. One of the best played characters around, in my opinion.

Raney cause I've had some awesome IC conversations with her, more depth there than maybe first meets the eye.

Anders cause he creeps me out.

If there is anyone out there who has not met Cassandra Aske yet IG, you are missing out! Make up a reason, any reason, to speak to her. Her character is one of the richest, fullest, most well-developed in Avlis, and yet she always seems to maintain an air of mystery.

Illryana- refrshing;y cooperative character that goes with the flow rather well.

I'm always amazed at what comes out of Ang's mouth.

Miriel makes RP look easy.

Kurn- He's believable, real and easy going.

Eleanor continues to be fun to RP with, and expresses herself, while still keeping her real feelings close to the vest. Any time I see her out with other maidens, I know *something* interesting is about to happen.

Sher is always a delight to play with, very skilled rper and is a joy to be around.

Del is an awesome rper always makes the limited game time i get to play an awesome experience.

Myrtle has gone from strength to strength this month, one of the few PCs i've played with who genuinely seems grateful for what they get, when Myrtle first joined the Maidens she was shy and lacked self confidence in an almost painful way, since then she has grown to be a real part of the Sisterhood, culminating in her promotion to Warrior Maiden last week, I know this came as a suprise to both the player and the rest of the order as well and it's one of the quickest Initiation periods I can remember, testament to just how effortlessly she fits in with the Order as a whole.

Lucius and Tel : two awesome/consistent/believable characters. Great folks too!

Vaako has some subtleties that I think are awesome. A rogue character to be admired!

Keekee is truly a joy to play with. If you're around this kobold and you don't have a smile on your face, then you're doing it wrong!

Anders and Uuc, sittin' in a tree... G - N - I - S - S - I - K

Rode is great! The one levelheaded reliable swordswoman my character knows, amidst an Avlis full of chaos

I had to clean my screen twice last night through spitting whatever I was drinking at it. Pantera has me in stitches on regular occasion, add into that a real sense of fun and a player who just seems to love playing their character and she's a real joy to be around, this said she also has a side that shows in more serious moments, if you're evil and you're going to mess with a Warrior Maiden, watch out for Pantera...

Torok - I never have a bad role-playing session with this barbarian from the North. I'm sure that he would grunt in agreement. From the emotes to the rare times when he speaks, Torok just sucks me right into the world of Avlis.

Jack Kenthal - I enjoy the times that our characters are able to meet up and go and explore some cave that none of us have been to. Jack's personality always shines through even though I am pretty sure the player is thinking, "This is going to get me killed..."

Jack and Ang - Reminds me of college and my fraternity days. Skirt chasing, hard drinking, rarely bathing...

Agathi is sweet.. well till she starts drinking and ripping all of her clothes off!

Hi Ho Silver! Not that she's high or a ho, but she is cold, calculating, and utterly evil. Woe be to you if she "smiles sweetly" to you.

Anders is the epitome of nutty chaos.

Tomas 'I'm for M'Chek' Kelthran

Mara 'stealth healer' Millennen

Kaz'shardra Aske wets my whistle (Pleth's words!).

Brongar Steelbeard draws me into the game. He's always in character. His dour personality paints a perfect fantasy dwarf and he does a great job of reminding us how even Deglosian dwarves tolerate other races without necessarily embracing them.

Cassandra Aske is creepy, and seethes with a disturbing undercurrent of Evil that dances at the edge of your senses. That's a real role-playing coup

Morag, what can I say... girley dwergen rule!

Keekee! Great fun to play with!

Liam Dald: his creative geniusness never ceases.

Angus Blacksail: Pals forever!

Lyra : Getting increasing depth in a character already with layers and layers.

Moriand Dias is a fun bloke to meet up with. Always up for adventure, learning something new, and probably a bit too much smoking of the pipe. I continue to enjoy learning about his character.

Ang is always IC and most times that just hurts or is hilariously funny. I'm happy to see someone playing an ignorant bastard who is happy to voice his opinion and force people to agree to it. Kudos!

I don't see Dusk often but when I do he always rings my RP bell !

Etz.. fun, fiesty and always a pleasure to be around.

you'd almost think the player had some first hand experience with it.

Congrats you two. Gotta admit to having some pretty exciting altercations with Ang. Keep up the solid work.

Problem alert! I know I voted for and commented highly upon myself AT LEAST 14 times from different accounts. I don't see but five of those here. The fix is in!

And

Thanks, y'all. You guys make it so easy and fun to play. And props to Cassandra, all the vote-getters, the ladies who run this jawn, and to the commentatorarianites. Always cool to read.

Cheers!
