Remorts

Post by Belasco » Thu Apr 01, 2010 1:34 pm

After a long and unpleasant discussion the Avlis Team has decided to stop doing remorts.

We have found it is a huge waste of the Team's time and effort and is, over all, a failed concept. The people with remorts currently in the queue will be the last to be done. The amount of "re-remorting", ridiculously long discussions over appropriate gear exchanges, and the blatant use of remorting by one individual as a way to mule goods has forced this decision.

Well the Jedi Were-Hamster is bit over the top but there are swamps in Le'Or. I know cause I found them one time by accident.

As a 'super noob', I have two questions about this:

What is a remort?

Wow, can I really play a Jedi Were-Hamster? Thats the stuff of my dreams!

Seriously now, I am really asking at least one of these questions!

As for the othe rpart of yoru question which i suspect to be an April fools, "What is a remort" check here. Click me for all the good it will now do you

There is no remort.

The remort has passed on! It is no more! It has ceased to be! It has expired and gone to meet Nob in Japan. It's a stiff! Bereft of life it rests in peace! If we hadn't stickied the post it would be erased by the Forum cleanup script! It's metabolic processes are now 'istory! It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, it's shuffled off it's mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible!!

This is an EX-REMORT!!

Therefore the Remort policy has been remorted. :lachtot:

This is really only passing on so that we can make way for a newer and better system, reremorting. It will be automated and the answer is always no.

Does that mean you're not approving my Angus Blacksail---------------->Pixie-Minotaur Shadowdancer remort?

Some warning would have been nice. Jeebus!

What about my previous request to remort Smeec? Is that also canceled? I was so looking forward to him roaming the AJA halls in stealth, killing random members when they were in the pool... ok, not much of a change, but saves me having to do it myself when it is scripted.

Ok ok, so there wasn't a discussion
And we aren't doing away with remorts
But I had to follow up with something after Grunt's "remort Fletcher" post ;)
