Those of us who don't see behind the curtain probably have no idea who does what and how and whatever... but the fact that such an amazing DM staff has been assembled and continues to make unbelievable fun is at least a testament to all you've done.

Thank you NH4!!!

I can't imagine the patience required to be head Cat Herder. Congratulations to you on the looooong run.

On the positive side, does this mean you're back to being the ACE sponsor? The planets are aligning, and I may be bringing Findail full-force back in game soon... :cooler:

NH,

Serving as a DM under you was an honor. You helped keep the team stable for years now, and everyone in Avlis owes you much more than they even know.

Double figures was never the problem, his characters would hit double figures then stop. :D

Hey, I'll have you know one of them is level 14!!

Also, it only took 7 years to achieve that - although that particular character is not as old as that.

I also have several at level 13, one with a PrC and a Holy Warrior. I have 3 or 4 characters who are almost 7 years old, several who used to be friends with a God (i.e. who knew Cha'reth personally before He ascended) and I have the coolest DM Avatar you could have (Dru'El). I even won Runner-up RPotM once (which is the greatest honour possible - to be honoured by one's peers).

Just a quick count on the fingers from memory suggests I have characters who are members of about 9 or 10 separate Guilds (different characters of course).

It has been a good 7 years. :opa:

Oddly enough, despite feeling rather down over the weekend, I spent almost all of the weekend at the Trade Fair. No combat - indeed very little movement - just RP. Absolute bliss!! That reminded me just how terrific life can be on Avlis.

Look on the bright side - now I don't have to work so hard, I get more time for fun. We can have parties with Woody and Pring, Events at ACE or ANRA, or even RP with one of my many, many characters. Let's hope for many more years yet.

What a shame the system is down at present.

Anyway, many thanks for all your kind words people - much appreciated. :rate10:
