Role Player of the Year 2009!

Post by Belasco » Tue Dec 15, 2009 2:42 pm

AVLIS
ROLE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

:tree: That's right, boys and girls, it's time to think back over the whoooole year and choose the two characters who have brought the most to your Avlis experience in 2009. :tree:

Who's made it on to your naughty  and nice  lists? Which characters have left you :erschreckt: :schockiert: ? Who have you found yourself cheering for :applaus: , or against :fluch: ? Who has made you :lachtot: and who has made you  ? Who has made you look at the clock and realize you should have gone to bed two hours ago and you still kept playing because the RP was just that awesome?

  • Rules

    0. PLEASE VOTE FOR 2 PCs, or 1 PC AND "NOBODY!" Due to a system enhancement, all votes must have 2 PCs, or the system will not accept ballot. Please vote for two, or vote for 1 and add "nobody" for the second one. Without the " " marks.

    1. All PCs are eligible!

    2. Players can vote for their own PCs, but it's really not encouraged. Try voting for those other PCs who enrich your gameplay experience by making the world a little more real for you.

    3. Yes, DMs and Team Members can vote. There's no additional weight to their votes, but all Avlis members are encouraged to vote if you feel there are deserving PCs.

    4. Yes, you may vote for PCs played by Team Members.

    5. Please be specific, if you can. This one isn't exactly a rule, but if you want your vote to count... do your best to write the exact floaty name of the PC. We may know every PC on Avlis, but there are many who go by names other than their floaties or with similar names or identical first names. Sure, we'll probably know enough to include votes for "Tevez" with the votes for "Kero Tevez", but give us a hand and write out the full floaty name if you can. Feel free to use the comments section to clarify if you're not sure.

Note: Use the comment section for an explanation of your votes, to add a comment for someone you're not voting for, or a place to show your creative side. No, it won't change the vote count or anything, but we do read and enjoy every comment. The vast majority of the comments will also be posted with the results. You can also use the comment section to comment on PCs you aren't voting for, to give a shout out to someone, or even to say something about whole groups of players/PCs!

Note: Please NO voting for DMs, we know we're t3h aw3som3 that's why we get paid the big bucks, but we also know there are a lot of PCs out there who deserve this award! Yes, you can vote for NPCs and guilds/groups and they will get posted publicly in an "Honorable Mentions" section. Comments about NPCs and guilds/groups will be posted for public viewing.
Voting will be open for 2 weeks (14 days)! Winners will be announced on December 31st!

Could have voted for a couple dozen people, voted for two instead. Stupid democracy.

I thought long and hard about it... so difficult to pick just two that are deserving! I'm hoping for a 24-way tie for first. :prost: Cheers to all you amazing roleplayers, who make it impossible to decide things like this. In my heart, Avlis is RPotY.

In that case, call me "Avlis"...

And, out of curiousity, is the RPotY award the same as the RPotM, or is there a boost to the XP that is given for the Yearly one?

Did we have an RPotM for December?

Maybe we'll consider it for next year ;)

In the mean time I will say we have a surprise change coming up to be announced with the winners of RPotY!
