September 2009 RPotM RESULTS!

Post by Belasco » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:35 pm

After a fierce dancing match around the ring and some strange moves on the ropes we have our winner...s!

In this corner, coming out of the shadows and into the spot light of FIRST PLACE we have...

Bavou B. Faost

Aaaaaaand in this corner, neatly gliding into SECOND PLACE...
Vilne Elor

And from the peanut gallery we have the always popular COMMENTS!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Honorable Mention:
All the Lizards of Drotid do an awesome job roleplaying cold blooded, cruel, egotistical bastards. But, they also very warm welcoming people who go out of their way for others.
  • Rhissaerk iss the MIGHTIEST role player!
    Varion is very consistently played. The role model for Avengers.
    Zeron/Bone: a vote long overdue. Zeron is a little cynical brat, always ready to stab you with a friendly dagger. Or was it a hand. A PC of definitely unique flavour.
    Bavou B. Faost: master of roaches is yours... for a price. The ultimate henchman, the perfect meatshield - were it not for the fact that he talks. I'm patiently waiting for somebody to cut his tongue off.
    Man, I can't vote for Liam?
    Hester: soo refreshing and fluttery!
    Eleanor's consistent personality with it's quaint moments of defensive mother and rabid Sister are a beautiful mix of bittersweet and the thought that something's going to come bite back...hard.
    I am sorry that the community can't participate in the LO forum event, but Eudaimon is rped beyond best. The last thing we got just today was a graveyard musical...
    Milla Stark for her great adventure story "Holy cow! People of Elysia! H-o-l-y cow!"
    Pantera is one of those character that I envy cause they move effortlessly, it's like natural rp with no planning.
    Two Characters, who I thought are played very very nicely.. dark sinister and untrustworthy.. however a good fun to play around with.. Bavou is a Colourful dude with vile and disgusting aura around him.. Lucretia dark and twisted with a nervous and restless mind.. well done both!!!
    Rhissaerk Jalesh - I've only RP'd with this scaled bastard a handful of times, but I've enjoyed each chance meeting.
    Airinn -Makes air sparkle and heart to beat faster.
    Sand - Now, this is well played evilness!
    Flare, well, I hadn't had much opportunity to play with her when she was last around, but this time, I had the pleasure of playing with her and I was impressed by her character concept of playing a warrior maiden who has been in the order for longer than some of it's players have played avlis, she still manages to be fresh and entertaining
    Thaylis Beign is an understated yet stalwart character, a mainstay of M'Chek and Avlis.
    A tale of two V's. Viktor first but I forget his last name. He is playing a cleric of Dagath in Mikona. Awesome fun character. Great roleplay. And Vilne again.. I guess he's a DM now but his character is great. He keeps it very consistent. All about these two right now.
    I always like when a new player can fit right into the world, and find a good story for their character to take part in. Kelvos Magsistine, not the God Kelvos, or the Bone Arm Kelvos...not that there's anything wrong with those two... Well the God Kelvos, maybe there is a lot wrong with him, he's a messed up dude. The other Kelvos is a Pale Master, but hey we won't judge... where the hell was I? Oh yeah, the Kelvos I'm voting for this time has done a great job getting his character involved, and is fun to play with.
    Deostori is a sweetheart of a character, and just seems to give off an aura of nature and goodness. She also has the 2nd best head of hair on all of Avlis. That should count for something.
    Sir is bubbly innocence personified. If she's on the screen, 100% guaranteed I have a grin on my face. And "help me buy slaves" is classic awesome.
    LiamDaldLiamDaldLiamDald. Yeah, I know I'm not supposed to vote for him anymore but who cares?
    Eowin is a beautiful character. Unassuming and quiet, but consistent and enjoyable; the type of character that provides flavor instead of spice.
    Torok is a hoot and Phoibe is double hoot.
    Brongar continues to be a "Dwarf's Dwarf": whenever he complains about the rain: "Bah, durned rain", all I can think is that wet dwarf must smell like wet dog.
    Vilne is super awesome. I think I said this on the last vote, but I still cannot wait to see what happens with him going forward.
    Bavou----Dzhe majikmomojojo!
    Freddy--I will continue to vote for Freddy until he stops making me constantly snicker!
    What I've seen of Dillon Wylde has been interesting and entertaining.
    Vilne…… but if I told you why I'd have to kill you……
    Rosemary does an excellent job of playing a young, almost naive, member of the Warrior Maidens. She has her "sensibilites" offended by some of the more crass things around her, and it is entertaining to watch her character slowly grow & mature.
    Bavou is utterly creepy and disgusting, but at the same time a very interesting and well thought out character. IC'ly he's like watching a gory horror movie that you can't turn off despite knowing you'll end up with nightmares. OOC'ly theP is always fun to be around.
    Syre Kross is quiet for a Violet, so it makes you wonder what it is he truly is hiding.
    Freddy, the halfling extraordinaire has a great perspective on many things, you can never guess what he will say in a given situation!
    Torok IS a barbarian. His complete distrust of magic in the beginning along with his gradual acceptance of its usefulness makes an interesting character to interact with. Kudos on going with the "old school" barbarian philosophy.
    Sir Haverith: The only elf chaotic enough to nearly get branded a criminal in T'Nanshi for wanting to help people.
    Archi plays a great Red Mage, and he's cute in his Le'Nofaythen recruit shorts!
    Skekshkish continues to be very supportive to the Drotid aligned lowbies, trying to make their playing experience more fun. He also sets them on fire a lot.
    Phoibe is one young confused girl but given time she could definitely become someone to watch for.
    Nuale/Wolf is a wonderfully complex character in all of his simplicity
    Korennya has, this month, been a true pleasure to RP with, she's always convincing and believable, but this month gave my character a real fright, what it is all about is FOIG, but it wasn't just my character that was worried...
    Davi is just beautifully RP'd, always IC as the trying not to be frazzled shop keeper, who somehow always makes time to help out or answer questions for just about anyone.
    Sometimes I wonder just how much of Avlis actually rests on Thorfinn's shoulders.
    Delurion is a pretty well kept secret I think. I always have a blast RP'ing with him.
    I believe in Thaylis Beign.
    Ulu: its been a pleasure watching her grow and learn what she has at her disposal.
