June RPotM Results!

Post by Belasco » Thu Jul 23, 2009 3:05 am

We have a TIE!

Anomandaari
and
Geris Grey

A huge congratulations to them both, and a massive thank you to everyone who voted. We had an outstanding turn out for June!

Comments:

Jack Kenthel and his Submissive Girl - Those two are the most interesting, organic and memorable characters I’ve seen in years. Their RP is so neat that even the typical epic jerk metagamer backs off. And that´s tough.

Recent encounters with Thorfinn have dramatically altered my perception of him. I've always enjoyed him, but after experiencing the subtleties and compassion of the character first hand, I am truly impressed.

I love the white kobold (Janken) and how he only seems concerned with just scrolls. Fletcher too has made my life a lot more profitable and fun!! May Hurine Bless you all!

A month with two returning favourites. Ang and Geris are the epitome of sleazy, compelling evil. Always a joy to be around.

With Ed back its like a piece of a puzzle found its spot and things start to take shape.

Who else but Sonja can make even the most boring task exciting and the most eventful moments even better.

Geris Grey. Women like him, men want to be like him. Also nominating him for "most in need of a shave" and "WWWD?" (What would the WOD do?) awards. Could be even deadlier with a good aftershave.

Thienna Hurst deserves some sort of prize for putting up with my character!

Ang is always funny, always sexy, and always bad-ass. I'm surprised women can resist him!

Anomandaari does all the little things that matter, and when he isn't creepy, he's very curious.

I picked Frapp, because of the in depth RP that the player puts into him. Always wondering what he will talk about when you see him.

Anomandaari is such a rich character with a unique personality and profession that is always fun to be around.

Geris has been a fantastic character to interact with and see his story unfold.

El'gos is a great character and am glad I've been able to interact with him more and more

Have to throw in one for Helene too. Well played.. awesome interactions that have my character walking careful lines.

Hanging out with Deo is always an awesome time, regardless of what we're doing.

Insulting Isadora on a regular basis just seems to make me happy.

I like Liam Dald and also Dillon characters very much, uses profound words to express their self, and always true to their character.

Geris, for profound character changing character development!

Liam, for making me laugh for hours on end. Always a blast.

You never can tell what (who) lurks in the woods... Enjoying every single opportunity to RP with EarKootzet and hoping for more :)

Smoking hot (a pipe) and killing sharp (by sword, not necessarily wits) - this PC is going to mean something one day. Or be mean. You know, mean in general. Unless there are pirates. Or whores. In any case, Isadora and her driver are always there to spice up the server. And I like it!

I'm actually voting for Douglas Hope's Moustache, but I suppose the player will have to do.

At first I'd thought that Kurn was a fairly one dimensional character, but I've been proved very wrong. There are a lot of sides to his personality that are worth the exploration if you take the time.

Nawen has a temper to match her hair color when it is unleashed. It is fun RP in a group or in private, each and every time.

I have known Ed since the second or third week after coming to Avlis. The RP of this jolly and happy half-orc has remained consistent through all the years. He is still a letch though.

With his commitment to genuine adventure and the resulting high-toned chronicles, Liam Dald, swordsman cynic, just won't stop making me want to play this game.

Hah, fuggin' Orfanos.

Geris--an amazing, amazing RPer. He stuns me with his depth of character!

El'gos--the (mostly) cheery Ivory mage has a deep, compassionate side that few get to see. Besides, how many people can make getting lost absolutely fun!

Miriel Xilo- It's official she is the Avlis Drama Queen

The most frightening side of Vintrinia is not reflected by the robes she wears, but instead by the depths of her passions - magic or otherwise. Like her pyromancy, her life is an enormous blaze that embraces and destroys every barrier that stands before it. It has been a pleasure to see exactly how destructive that force can be, and to see the vulnerability of the woman behind the power.

Aiko has this wonderful, child like, innocence that really shines through. Add to the fact that she's tough as nails, you have a young dragon-kin in the making. Love playing with her.

Thorfinn, the booze guzzling, mellow smoking speaker of the Hands that knows how to get down to business when it's called for. A great Dru'Elite with a touch of common sense.

Frapp-because he's so Frappishly Frappity Frapping Frapp

Eleanor's RP is consistently true to alignment and her character's ideals (and wonderfully fun to watch)

Raine and Jalya just keep me going with their role play. I can always count on them to make me laugh. :D

Silver Fox is a Malekite, sure, and a Blackguard at that. But she's so cool, even a fat Gorethite Dwarf would want to party with her.

Moriand (Mor) is one of the newer characters from the last few months, and is a welcome addition to the T'Nanshi area. I'm really glad I ran into him IG, and got to play with the character. I expect more good things from him.

Freddy..., a bit like Zeno of Citium..yes

Zerub...*spits* anything else to be said?

Mercy - Always seems to be in character, which ranges from being drunk at a Le'Megen meeting to trying to blend in on a stakeout by having an "argument" with another PC. Always makes the game that much better when she is in the party.

Torok - His *grunts*, *snorts*, and *glances sideways at [insert character name]* speak more volumes than most characters that speak entire sentences. I have never had a bad experience playing with Torok, and I hope to do more of it in the future.

Dru is a blast to RP with!

Nawen, well she rocks and she knows it!

Amiru - back in game. Complex builded character with huge history and still evolving. True rp monster :D

Zang - this guy rocks, he is like fundamental pillar of avlis.

Findail seems completely unfit for the life of an adventurer. You expect him to die at any given moment, yet his charm and wit manage to keep him standing.

After all these years, Miriel is still the realest person of them all. Chapeau!

Words cannot begin to describe the awesomeness that is Ahrton and Stook. Strong contenders for Avlis' finest double act.

Thaylis is an excellent, well-grounded character. Not only is he great to RP with, but he genuinely is interested in other characters and their players, and tries his best to get them involved if at all possible.

Why Kero? Because!

Aerie is the a typical paladin who has too much mental prowess for such a small frame, let alone she loves to hamstring you!

Darius is the epitome of being a thug consumed by absolute corrupted power

congrats congrats! :feuer: :feuer: :feuer: :feuer:

The only fear I have is that now is going to be even more difficult to understand Manda, darn avlissians reinforcing his crazyness, I need subtitles at the PTRG meetings...

and if the number of comments, and the number of old timer coming back speaks of the health of Avlis, LONG LIVE THE TEAM AND FOIG!!!! Never seen so many comments since I have been playing!!! Guys keep up the good work!!!!
