NWN Platinum Installation

Post by Cromagnon » Mon May 25, 2009 6:47 pm

I had to get a new HD, and I'm trying to re-install NWN Platinum. I only have one CD (labelled Play/Install), but during installation, at one point, it asks for Disc 2. I don't remember having a second disc.

Any suggestions, other than "go out and buy Diamond edition for $18?"

Is it not all on the same disk and you just hit enter or something to go on?

Tried that. It keeps asking for Disk 2. :?

I'll give it a try later, maybe something will click.

Platinum came on four cd's or one dvd. If you have the cd version, there's three more disks somewhere.

Hope that helps.

Well, shit.

I sure don't remember more than one CD, and it's not labelled "Disk 1," but it does seem to act like there are more.

Thanks for the replies.

Browse the DVD... I bet there's a folder or something for each disk.
Success will be lovely, but you will have to go out and get it! Failure will invite itself in.

I have the platinum version DVD, it will clearly be labeled DVD-Rom on the left side, if not you either got a misboxed or a bad disc.

Some DVD's (at least the movie-type) are double-sided, maybe turn it around?

Could always bit torrent it as a last resort and use your own serials.

X:|

I'm a computer moron. I'm not sure what that means.

The CD does say in tiny print "part #16532CD1", so it probably is a CD and I must have lost the others.

The Platinum edition came with a nice folding cardboard holder for all the discs. Recently I looked round for my version and found it with my music CDs. Maybe yours has been mixed up in the same way?
