RPOTM January Results!

Post by Ghostie » Sat Feb 07, 2009 1:43 pm

It's an evil mage showdown for the start of the year!
  • 1st place:
    Vesdrac Noss'tau

    2nd place:
    Sywyn Foxglove

The prizes:
1st Prize: 500 experience points per character level
2nd Prize: 250 experience points per character level

Congratulations to everyone!

--------

Vesdrac: for keeling everyone!

Archibald: for having major cajones.

I wub my ebil Vessy. I mean without him who would I exchange bitchy little jabs with... Past Thienna...

Sywyn is not the typical avariel by any means of the word, very outspoken and individualistic, but a damn fine businessman.

Bedlam what else can be said of a man who will toss fire protection on you just so he can set you a flame??!!

Chaya is that reserved and well spoken girl you admire yet you can tell by her choice in company she has a much darker side to her.

I found my second vote hard this month. After some considering, though... I think I'd have to vote for Quintus. I've really enjoyed all the chats we've had and look forward to more!

Bedlam just gets funnier every day. Just when you think you have him figured out he does something totally off the wall.

Daemona: What else can be said about her.

Darias and Sadowfang - Seeing some great RP from the two of them from the client and as a player. You get to see different sides of them, how they react in certain situations, etc. Good stuff!

Miriel - simply the best

This was easy: one vote each for Anomandaari and Ath'nook Nekken. These two rocked this month individually and they play off each other so great. Their forum work is wonderful particularly Mandari's meditations and ruminations which are fantastic!

Fealith and Shay are two characters I've come to appreciate more recently. Both add inspriation for further RP.

If Friedrich Nietzsche were a blackguard (and, I guess, transgendered) he would be Silver Fox. She's awesome.

Watching Sywyn RP is a little like Nascar. It's fast, it goes in circles, and periodically there's an entertaining firey crash. I love his bird puns and his smarmy auctioneer persona.

Since the only substantial amount of RP I've been able to see has been on the boards, this month I'm giving my vote to Sywyn.

The other one is for Tor Varson and the WODs.

Silver is slyly seductive, providing the perfect slope into Maleki's clutches.

The White Kobold is just awesome from snout to tail.

If Kish'ti were a bank, I'd definately open an account on her. So much reliability in times like these is just spectacular. Forget about Northern Rock, Kish is my one and only Southern Rock!

Frapp is so very, very Frapp.

Ulu - crazy trousers. Vesdrac - crazy hair. Seems unbeatable.

Liam is a hoot! I've had so much fun playing with him.

When will Lucien win?!?! (Note from Ghostie: When more people vote for him ;))

Vesdrac Noss'tau is better than you.

Liam Dald is also better than you.

Ace: Everyone needs a drinking friend and she everyone's drinking friend.

Vesdrac - E.V.I.L. -Even Vesdrac Is Loved (I still say you should kill her)

Ayslynne - the players lets YOU RP.. while not forcing their RP on you.

Selash - a superbly played elf

Koryanna's quick wit constantly keeps me on my RPing toes!

Eleanor's amazing depth while RPing her art is beautiful to behold.

Thralia is a joy to be around always making even the most ordinary situation interesting.

Ji'mas is likewise great making jokes during the most dire situations.

Bedlam has grown in entertaining and painful ways; it's a pleasure to watch.

Fletcher is truely becoming a Man of Opportunity. I'm enjoying his growth as a new character.

Watching Vintrinia grow dissatisfied and pondering her own future has been extremely believable and enjoyable.

Vesdrac and Thanalos: lots of awesome. And it's illegal to sleep with him now poor guy, so best give him some platonic love.

Liam Dald/Filch: I can't imagine either of them will win, but they both have stolen my heart. These scoundrels of RP.

How Vesdrac has not won this yet is absolutely beyond me.

I'm going to have Thaylis a shout out here as one of my favorite underrated characters. Good job, dude.

Aerie is 100% committed-to by her player, and doesn't stay within a "safe-zone" of her friends. She offers opportunity to allow a situation to become a true moment of challenge or revelation for those around her. It goes a long way toward her own character development as well. I respect and appreciate this in RP'ers more than anything. Oh, and then she does all those cute little emotes like brushing her hair out of her eyes. So adorable. :D

Shih is insane. And it's constant. I have to give my vote to his player this month and likely could every month if he were able to play more often.

Vesdrac - pure awesome.

Congrats!
Maybe I'll manage to log in again, so I can vote, and also see this quality RP that supposedly happens.
Though the comments were a blast to read.

Wow!

Thanks guys, you all rock.

Without everyone else here, we wouldn't have this. So thanks for playing along, and giving us all a reason to be here!

Vetinari: I have noted before that you have a definite anti-authoritarian streak, Commander.
Vimes: Sir?
Vetinari: You seem to have retained this even though you are Authority.
Vimes: Sir?
Vetinari: That's practically Zen.
