Problems with Dreamhost

There are some problems with dreamhost right now. I'm using them for my personal email, and nothing can get through.

I have sent a support note in, but you can watch the problem here. Granted, since you can see this site, the problem is odd. I only have a problem with the mail server, not websites.

All staff@avlis.org emails should probably be resent as PMs as to either szabot, nighthawk4, alexandru stanicu, or myself.

I'll update this post when the problem is fixed.

This probably explains the problem Dirk Cutlass reported.

If anyone has sent an email in the last few days and had a bounce back message, please feel free to PM one of the Team as Ninja suggests.

We usually respond fairly quickly to confirm we have received your message - so if you do not receive such a message then please PM the original email. :wink:

I don't see any known issues on http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/ and my e-mail on Tairisnadur.com is working. I'm guessing yours is a new issue specific to the e-mail server you're on (which is most likely not the same as mine).

It might not ne as fixed as you think.

I got a failure notice today for an email I sent over a week ago. I've already had a response so the email got to someone at staff@avlis.org.

The failure notoce listed two recipients that it failed to deliver to - both hotmail adresses. Would it be of any use for me to forward those?
Am I too fat to HiPS?
