This doesn't work - either not found or don't have permission to access.

I downloaded all of the HAKs on the Downloads part of the website, but these still don't let me into Deglos.

Yet the Server Status does say people are logged in (not at the moment, but it did last night).

well the FTP site is on the servers, so since the servers are currently down, you cannot access the FTP server either.

once it is back up, the deglos hak on the FTp server has the updated haks for the deglos server. It is a large file, just to warn you...

Is the Deglos Hak still in testing, or is it fairly stable now? I am often afraid of things labelled 'Still under development'...

Great getting it now, thanks ... perhaps a link should be put on the downloads page?

Cheers, Colin

i think they are not posting the final haks for Deglos simply because Deglos is still being developed..

They may need to change the haks at some point....

Read the first post in the hakpaks thread in the general forums carefully.

I am trying to Download the Deglos Hakpak from work, as it is too big to do so from Home with a dialup. However, we have a Firewall which will not let me use FTP. There is a comlicated way which is supposed to allow FTP, including a login with Anonymous and my Email address, but I cannot get this to work.

Is there any chance that someone could tell me the names of the files, or a link which does not require an FTP connection please?

I really want to visit Deglos.

Thanks.

I am FTPing the Deglos haks as we speak; I'll put the file in a directory where you can get at it with HTTP. Would that work?

Thanks again HarveyH. File downloaded and on my Flashdrive.

I have verified that it is readable.

So, with luck, Deglos tonight :D

Great News - I reached Deglos. Only briefly so far, but I was able to login.

Thanks again HarveyH :D

Wonder how long it will be before the required Haks are changed

The DeglosHak should be available from the normal place now: the downloads section of the avlis website.
So much fun,
yet so little time to enjoy it.

Ummm, is there any way that this Hak can be broken up into 10k to 13k parts, I only have a Dial-up modem and they will not be offering anything else in my area until there are more people and less sheep.

Yes "mb" not "k", must have been thinking about something else. Freeserve here in the UK knocks clients off line every 1 1/2 hours, so it is impossable to dl anything over 13mb. :? And it can take a good hour to dl 13mb.

Use Getright (assuming that the files are resumable)

Two words:

Fighters do it face to face, Rogues may do it from behind, Rangers can do it from a distance, Wizards do it from out of nowhere, Clerics may not do it at all, Barbarians may do it in a rage, Sorcerers can do it on a whim, Bards on a note, but Paladins have to pay for it!
