After having got in over my head I was killed. Now I'm in the Outland plane, in a library trying to find my record so I can return. I have checked every bookshelf and spoken to every NPC and still no sign of my records.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It can be a real pain to find - keep looking

Note that speaking to the record keeper will reset the location of your records.
