proud nerd

Post by Jaybob » Fri Apr 25, 2008 7:44 pm

Last night I was reading "Pirate Girl" to my 4-year-old daughter. when we got to the part where Barbarous Bertha raises her cutlass, my girl looks at the picture and goes, "that's not a cutlass, that's a rapier."

true that, kiddo.

true that.

Yep, nothing like hanging with the kids and talking about how you should spend skill points and why other people don't understand the difference between a mace and a morningstar. :D

The difference between a mace and a morningstar is that a mace has flanges or bumps while a morningstar has spikes. Technically, the weapon in D&D that they call "morningstar" is just another type of flail.
