Results! RPotM March

Post by Jazz » Wed Apr 09, 2008 1:13 am

*hums*
Goody two, goody two,
Goody, goody two shoes,
Don't drink, don't smoke - what do you do?
  • 1st place:
    Aria Ashby

    2nd place:
    Nax Lazzar

The prizes:
1st Prize: 500 experience points per character level
2nd Prize: 250 experience points per character level

--------------------------------------------------------

Aria is just so sickeningly sweet, it's hilarious and digusting at the same time. ;-)

Naxeltear is a great character that's very real, grounded, and nuanced while at the same time of heroic demeanor. Oh, I mean Nax Lazzar and Aerie Angeltear. They play both the common couple and the dedicated evil smiters very well, often at the same time.

Findail is back! He got older, but still has long blond hair: I think he must be looking like David Lee Roth now..

Marin: Does the language thing better than anyone else on Avlis, gnome or otherwise. It's fun just listening to her talk.

Aria is one of those goody two shoes it would be so fun to corrupt, but you just can't bring yourself to do it...

Garathond: For a Random Encounter:Dwarf in the wilds, which turned into a pleasant trip and professional discussion on the art of carpentry.

Coraline versus the Fire Beetle...told in the Ashen Tower

Arthon really sums up how I view a Blackguard, combine him with his sidekick Stook and you have a recipe for hilarious. Thanks for all the laughs. :)

Aria: tea and cookies. Who can resist those?

Selash: Who can't love him? He's expressive, and even mumbles under his breath at times. :D

Miette's superb role-playing and control over all aspects of magic has managed to bring Avlis alive for me. The sheer intensity of backround and depth involved with this character is unbelievable!

What can be said about Micah....CYBER!!

Thienna is another splendidly played character backed up by a top notch player. Consistent, present often, mindful of the fun of others. It's good stuff.

Zerub appears to be just a grumpy warrior, but there is a lot more to the character. Very well played.

Frapp - Unique and wonderful character outside the often standard lines seen in gaming-his background story having a beautiful impact on his RP in subtle ways.

Gladd is a consistent character, that can take his time to talk IG for hours, and seem to enjoy every moment. A true goodytwoshoes, that nevah gives up.

Ji'mas has the ability to make you laugh.. or at least smile, even when an event turns TPK.

Vian & Sammy Valorian: These two crack me up! Also, they are some of the people that have kept me interested in Avlis over all these long years. Great Roleplay, and literally part of Avlis's history.

Tevez - Kero's fantastic - he's always been one of those chars who adds to a night of rp no matter what is going on. . . strong personality and philosophy, sweet demeanor, lives his faith, and has a unique physical presence (does he really emit pink? :D )

Faeldridge is still the coolest Halfling, I've played with. Unfortunately he wasn't on that much this month, but when he was (and when my Character met him), he was, as always a blast.
Quick witted and a quick tongue...still so naivé in his own way. He deserves a long overdue recognition!

Korryanna - gruff for your own good then teasing for the same reason, Korry walks the tenuious line of the human/fey warrior to perfection.

I don't know Etzeth very well but I found her to be a very well played character due mostly I think with which how quickly the player types / thinks. It's maybe a silly thing but I find it to be very immersive.

Mek Stinkfoot is the best husband ever.

Ath'nook is as scary as the hell he probably came from.

Lucien keeps entertaining me by being absolutely insufferable.

Cati - Good lord, someone give that girl some valium.

Eldrea's complexity of character continues to deepen; she has a variety of questionable interests, some of which conflict with others. Seeing her resolve these issues should prove entertaining.

It is a darn disgrace that neither Seka nor Jared has won this competition.

Wow I know both of the characters involved in this month's RPotM. I'm either old, or been around too long, or something of the sort.

Congrats! Couldn't have gone to two more dedicated RPers. =)
