Post by UrebrilTrulluch » Fri Jul 07, 2006 10:55 am

Anyone else experencing issues with this video card and NWN?

System:
P4 2.66 gh
1GB RAM
ATI Radeon X300 SE
Windows XP

Recently installed, I am not sure if there is a specific setting someone out there may know.

{I'm dumb as a stump when it comes to technical, but I love the game}

Most likely your direct x version or one of the drivers for the card... Beyond that, couldn't really tell you. I had to revert to an earlier driver due to conflicts, and updated my direct x version.

Ok, I just updated the direct X from microsoft. I am still getting the same issue which is:

Screen is crystal clear, no black spots, no color fade / change.

but

the pointer and the charcters move like an old book i once had with a charcter drawn on each page and you have to flip the pages fast to see the animation.. {like looking at a screen movie and blinking very fast, looks choppy}

I am not sure how to revert to an eariler driver??

me...

Or try older ATI drivers like I had to when the Omega drivers didn't work either.
Jesus promised the end of all wicked people.
Thor promised the end of all Ice Giants.

1} the software failed loading from the CD that cane with the card.

2} I goggled for drivers and found a "ATI Catalyst 6.6" {google it} and that got it working. woo hoo!!

this seems to be a common problem from whats on the google results..
