Computer Question

Hey, just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem. Whenever i run anything requiring higher graphics.... i.e. NWN my computer turns into the ultimate epilepsy machine and begins flashing colors and having the pixles come out of line, sometimes causing me andonly me to lag. Im assuming this is a fried graphics card? Is my assumption probably right?

It does seem like you can have a problem with the memory chips on your video card. This is often caused by inadequate cooling of your card, so you might want to check if that is the case first. Also, try to underclock your GPU and memory a bit, and see if that helps.

NWN can hardly be called graphics-intensive these days, so I guess you're sitting with a rather old card. If you're just upgrading an old machine, a €80-100 card should make a big differece. Anything better, and you might have to consider buying an entirely new machine, which may not be worth it for you.
