Hmm, Gordon Walton's tenure at Origin was the best couple years for Ultima Online.
They enforced the ban stick pretty well, he really pushed his seer and GM staff to do lots of little events for the players . The game didn't really start to go to crap till aftyer he left.

Preetty sketchy details though. Obviously it can't be anything D&D related, maybe they're planning to make Dragon Age a MMOG instead of single play? Just what we need, another fantasy based MMOG. I'd love to see a really well done sci fi MMOG, or something set in a fallout type world, or even better, Privateer Online...

Now having said that, if Bethesda ever decided to make an Elder Scrolls Online, I would be so there.

Oh, this link gives a little more details. It mentions Gordon "Tyrant" Walton and Rich Vogel, both UO vets..

I used to be an Elder in UO. It was cool with one big drawback... schedules.

Eventually, it started feeling like a job that I wasn't getting paid for.
