I hope not on avlis because we will be seeing people carrying bodies all the time because they added it to their armor in Rockhome :P
beezel_bug wrote:when?
when it's done :P

It says it uses the robe system, that's the same system used for hats and robes. It allows things to be added to armors without overriding any other parts of the body.

I don't know.

Adventure Gear is a set of clothing/armor pieces for PC's and NPC's in NWN. The project began due to an invite to join the Arcane Space Tileset development team at Crimson Stars. http://www.crimsonstars.com
IIRC isnt these guys part of CoPap, perhaps we will see things like this soon then? :D

Crimson Stars...isn't that what's succeeded by Ithilla, what Orl is recruiting all the coders for?

See the post by Orl:
Orleron on the CoPaP Main Board wrote:I am happy to announce that The Crimson Stars project has been given to Hellfire and Baron by Nightbringer, and remade anew! The Spelljamming server will now be focussing on a new crystal sphere: the one containing Avlis, Tairisnaidur, as well as a second sphere containing the rocky asteroid complex of Ithilla. I will also be serving as a team member there.

The Ithilla Team is accepting new members of all levels of experience. PM me or Hellfire for details. Coders and database operators are some of the more essential roles that are needed. Applicants should be reliable and willing to put their heart in it. Casual builders/coders may be useful as subs, but they need not apply as full team members.

Just to give some more info here

Rosietreats Adventurer Gear used Both robe systems and alignable VFX

The scroll cases, and scabbards you see on that site are robes that can be applied over your existing armor. There are also Backpaks, Bedrolls, and rope that can be applied via Alignable VFX. this allows anyone wearing robes to have backpacks too.

I have been in the loop with this for some time, and have been using it in my MP mods for probably 5 months or more helping rosie work out the bugs.

I do plan on putting this into Ithilla

Say good bye to leather armor and torches to define you as an adventurer.

These are wicked cool, I hope we see them someday IG.

I would kill to have my bow slung over my shoulder and my rapier slapping against my leg. Of course, it might look a little goofy if I were carrying my bow and it was slung across my back, but meh. This looks too damn cool to pass up!

Kudos to those responsible. :D

Wow!
I'm glad you like it... I pretty much made it for all of us at CoPaP anyways!

I guess there's talk of adding it to CoPaP at large.
The thing is, they want to check with CEP first and see if they plan to use it. It's counter-productive to change the universal hak back and fourth... makes sense
:)

I can't wait for this to hit Avlis so my PC can look right when I'm there! It's been a long time

Well, I want to come here and say "Hi" so...

HI!

You'll be happy to know that I'm really working hard on the update, which will squash all bugs reported.

One biggie in particular, though, is that the update removes the edited nwscript.nss, as it will not be needed. With that little headache in the hak, one would have to update the hak everytime there was an official update that changed the nwscript.nss... nightmare OVER!!!

A wise man does not dwell on his past. He learns from it, he grows from it, and then moves ahead into his future.

And some wise words from a wise man. :P
