Lost in "The Seven Heavens"
Greetings,
Tonight my character ventured to Ferrell for only the third time. In the Roseberry woods, my friends and I were killed immediately by a will-o-wisp.
They were able to complete their quest and return to collect their gear from their bodies. Somehow I managed to get stuck in "The Seven Heavens". Please do not misunderstand, it really is a nice place. I completed the quest but was not able to leave. I think there must be a bug there. After several hours of trying, another indivdiual answered my tell and suggested that I log out and log into Mikona. I would have to wait but the "heavens" were working there.
My body disappeared while my character was in the heaven in Ferrell. Fortunately, my friends were able to get my gear.
I did use the DM channel in-game but guess everyone was away for the holiday. This is the seond time I have not been able to leave the "heavens".
I am not sure what happened. It was as if I was in an infinite loop. If there is a bug, will it be fixed soon; or, if it is operator headspace error, then I need somone to assist and tell me what I am doing incorrectly. THANKS!
Take care. May your day be WONDERFUL and your week TOTALLY AWESOME!
Best/kind regards,
A

After completing the quest, you need to try ALL the portals in the Seven Heavens until one works for you. The most common error I hear about is people finding one portal that works for them one time, then trying that same portal again each time, not realizing the right portal will change randomly.
Having said this, yes, major changes to the death system will be occuring within the near future.
For now, I hope you got out ok and can continue having fun.

One other thing with the death planes, I've found that if I die & complete my death quest, then die again on the same server, I will not be able to complete the death quest again until a server reset. AFAIK, this is true on all servers, though I have not had need to test this too much in recent weeks. And the Seven Heavens is where my PC goes when she dies.

Hi,
Greetings,
Yes, I did try the portals over and over again as well as talking to the archeons, and Tolir, in an attempt to redo the quest.
However, I like the idea of not dying. At least this time it was not at the hand of a Sereg which is indeed a happy thing.
I have much to learn as a Paladin, fighter, and apprentice. Maybe one day . . . . .
Have a WONDERFUL rest of the day!
Best/kind regards,
