Avlis and Mythos are linking worlds!!

Dear NWN Community, we are pleased to announce the unprecidented linkup of two of NWN's more popular PW's! Mythos and Avlis are linking up! If you join one, you join the other, and you can go back and forth between the worlds at will. 'So what', you may say. Worlds like ALFA have had linked servers on multiple computers for months. True. But this is different. Mythos and Avlis are linking without sharing a servervault over a network!

Both worlds have their own independent servervaults, yet they are linked! How?! Finally the true power of NWNX2 shows. You may think that NWNX2 is JUST a database interface. WRONG! It does much more. Database connectivity is just one aspect of NWNX2. With NWNX2 plugins, Avlis Team member Jeroen wrote software that can synchronize servervaults over the internet without a direct VPN or other constant connection. More info is found on the Avlis or Mythos websites. Currently we are running a closed beta, so we will keep you posted
