Communications Staff is Hiring!
As we mourn the loss of TripleAught to the ultimate darkness of the DM client, we are happy to offer up his still warm position as a Proclamation Articulator to the community.

I am not interested in any of the rest of it, but I would gladly take a cattle prod that I could use on the DM Staff. JOne question though, is it an electric prod or just one of those glorified sticks?

Careful with that. You might end up using that cattle prod on a cow from hell, and then you won't be pleasedStormShadows wrote:I am not interested in any of the rest of it, but I would gladly take a cattle prod that I could use on the DM Staff. Been there, done that. If you have never been shocked by one of those, believe me, they are not fun! Our hogs never liked them either.StormShadows wrote:I am not interested in any of the rest of it, but I would gladly take a cattle prod that I could use on the DM Staff. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello?), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice-mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

Never been shocked by an electric prod before, but I have been bitten by various electric fencers over the years.

I love how this thread has derailed from announcement of a team opening to people talking about the various ways in which they've been electrically shocked

I wouldn't mind being tasered once, just to experience it. Other than I would probably piss myself which would be highly embarassing.Darkfire wrote:Been tasered a couple times
I know, dont you love it? And its all my fault for mentioning the electric prod.Xaila wrote:I love how this thread has derailed from announcement of a team opening to people talking about the various ways in which they've been electrically shocked

Re: Communications Staff is Hiring!
Many many years ago, when I was a kid, I was helping my Uncle on his farm. He handed me this wire from the electric fence. Innocently, I accepted it and yelped as it gave me a shock. 'Oh good, it is working then', he said.

Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.
