Dude, it lasts for one turn per caster level. A cleric able to get a +4 enhancement out of Magic Vestment will make it last for 20 minutes or most likely 40, since a cleric of that level either has the Extend Spell feat or can afford spending 200 gp on a charge of certain metamagic rod. I don't think that +4 armour AC for 40 minutes at the price of one level 4 slot is pointless.
