o_O

There are 1000's of mods available at:

http://nwnwault.ign.com

Death match arenas and PvP Arenas

But also have a look at this thread where RCon announced hosting a mod.

Finally, try IRC. Go to http://www.mirc.com, or find another irc client. Go to irc2.glowfish.de and to channel #avlis. Might hear about other mods being hosted there.

Just a reminder that, while Avlis is down, it's a good time to check out other CoPaP worlds. The Live worlds that are currently online are: Abyss404, Ea, Hala, Mystara, and Tairis'nadur

See http://www.copap.org for more details.

Alternatively, if you're interested in some PvP while the Avlis servers are down, there is a Fight Club module running. More details here: viewtopic.php?p=476646#476646

Not to be a pain, but IMHO, that belongs in NWN General Discussion. ;)

Oh Avlis, where have you gone...
I feel, like I've been without you for so long....
Forever more, will I wonder what I have to do,
Oh my Avlis, what I say is true,
I need your fun,
I need your war,
In growing desperation
I write this poem for you my game,
And await some reperation.

Must take some bard levels :P

I would say...
If Avlis works without any problems, we are just a kind of harmless madcaps, almost drooling to the screen, sitting in the closed room in the hospital for mentally insane...
But if Avlis DOESN'T work...The situation changes diametrically. Doors are open and 10 000 army of mad, frantic, determined players marches away to find a new TOY... Watch out...they are EVERYWHERE.... :grr: :euuuh:

There's a lesson to be learnt here........

and that is......

PJ and Orl should be kept under lock and key, only let put under strict supervision

Does anyone have the necessary 20 levels of Ranger to track them down?

Why do I have this feeling that once the servers are back up everything will be full and completely lagged out eh? We should have a big fuzzy happy IC celebration for the fact that everyone has been unconcious IC for days!

Are you suggesting each town have it's own shin-dig or an Avlis-wide 'we appreciate ((simulated)) living' party?

What do you think it would it take to bribe their wives to turn over the keys? :?

You know I started to think about how many times Orl or PJ had to get up form doing somethng worthwhile to perform some maintenance on these machines. I remember reading a thread somewhere about how bad it had become when they were stored at Orl's inlaws..... I am sure it must have been a treat to get up from having supper and driving over there to give a server a boot.

I wonder how many times these guys were enjoying themselves only to get a phonecall, page, email, IRC hit.... whatever and were told the servers needed some attention. Maybe they were watching a movie, eating their supper, had some friends over, on their way out to see some people....... actually I bet every single time the servers went kaput they were doing something more worthwhile then attending to cranky servers. What a pain this must be.

Props to these guys for disrupting their lives for the sake of mine.

Well who would have thought it?

Both Orl and PJ seem to have Multiclassed with 1 level of SD, just in order to get HiPS

Even worse, I went along to Tairis'nadur to join in the DM fun event there - a couple of minutes late - then I find I am missing the latest HAK - 35 minutes to download on my Dialup connection

The event wil be over before I can even login. X:|

Avlis, I dedicate the old Hee Haw song to you. ;)

Where, oh where are you tonight?
Why did you leave me here all alone?
I searched the net over and thought I found true love,
Your network went down and (sticks tongue out) you were gone!

Wow, I am starting to feel old. ;)
I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello?), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice-mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

I should send them yummy homemade cookies.
It's chaos, be kind.
