Avlis/CoPaP Mailing List Transfered to Yahoo Groups

It's a mailing list, not a group, but I doubt that matters.

196 people signed up so far. The old list had 4000+, hehe.

on these forums 3925 people are registered with 0 posts. interesting fact that I noticed. so if any of them arent signed up for the CoPaP mailing list thats a buncha them. (yes i know they are probably from UO but meh.

I am probably registered here with my old address from Japan still, and even if you have my latest address it has an annoying automatic spam filter and deletes stuff rather than sendnig to a spam folder...

Can someone please PM me what I have to do.

I have changed it to my current one,but if you don't wanna mess with it I understand.Could you send me the link to subscribe or apply to the Yahoo

Silly Elf (me) ... I'll need the subscription info for yahoo mailed to this account (via the forums). I'm one of the 4000 mailing listees who hasn't updated to the new mailing. In fact, I've just registered into this Forum today.

I've just begun playing in Avlis... though I sent/received my application about a year ago... and just sat on it until now. I've really been enjoying this world and I'm very impressed.

After we get the email asking us to confirm, and we send a reply emailing confirming, how do we know if it worked or not and if we are on the list? Is there some way to check? Thanks in advance.

You should get a confirmation email when you do that.

My acceptance letter I recived on 1- 21- 2003, I just didn't play here for a while after the initial entry, so it's not in there.

me too - couldnt respond at the time and my 'sub' emails to the new yahoo group get no response.

I just noticed this thread (it happened in a period between when I joined Avlis and when I became an addict, err, an active player).

I wondered why I'd stopped getting mail, but I never got the subscription instructions. Can I be sent them please?

all you have to do is edit your yahoo profile to include the new email addy, then edit your Member Preferances at the CoPaP group to use that email addy.

Hi. I'm having to change my email address too (other one is getting spammed with junk mail with virus attachments at the moment - makes it totally unusable when you have 100+ junk spams a day - damn spammers

). Anyway, I can change my email address on Yahoo groups, if only I knew which group it was - can someone let me know please (PM), otherwise I'll have to wait until the next monthly newsletter - which I might miss because of all the junk in my mailbox.
