removing challenge rating

Post by ashzz » Thu Feb 05, 2004 12:52 pm

the world of HAZE has effectively removed the challenge rating appearance when you EXAMINE another PC.

Im not sure how, but it is possible. maybe someone from the team might like to contact their developers for this info?

Hm.. that could be an interesting thing. Most of the time now people only look at the CR of creatures. They should use common sense instead.

CR is a lie quite often, so trusting it will get you killed. The real problem is being able to see what spells/buffs a person or NPC has on them through examine, this is more telling than the broad challenge rating words given.

If they are using the same way to remove CR since before SoU its more of a hassle, and can actually be circumvented quite easily.

on haze, you do an examine on a PC and you see nothing but the description the player typed in iirc
