Role Player of the Year 2018 Results!

Post by gutemensch » Sat Jan 19, 2019 5:53 am

~Fanfare and drums, cheers and shouts~

First Place
FABELLO

Second Place
RADE

Torrinn - Truly an inspiration, he has advanced splendidly in all the crafts. Researcher bar none.

Dala - She will heal you and then heal you some more!

Eneki - Often seen with Dala!

Boruek - He wants you to believe there is no goodness, but I see it!

Galadorn LionsBlood - Too quick he was gone!

Roderick Goodman - Always good in a fight! Always!

Rade - Sneaking, and sneaking some more

Thomas Bosh - Expect corrections!

Fergus Goodmane - God he's funny!

Thaylis Beign - Thoughtful kind and compassionate.

Slide Toefungus - Is an excellent guide, if he would slow down!

Wax - Fun and adventurous!

Nine - Careful, steady... now run!

Seavien Dana - Truly a delight

Gorstag Tessele - A treasure of knowledge.

Fabello - Truly a wonderful wizard!

Tor - Forever fight evil gits.

Rhys'lryn Si'Vidicuss - Truly a hero of our time!

Mirkduil Ellendar - What did he just say? pretty much!

Natasha Sorrowmoon - Turn-ons include: the undead and unliving. Turn-offs: smiting the undead and unliving.

Raluca Istok - Her name is Luca and no she doesn't live on the second floor.

Yaru 'four' Nefantir - One badass Drangonari Bit... Lady named Four.

Natasha has my vote for this years Player of the Year Award. A new priestess to a new goddess, she's done an excellent job with her RP during the In-Nabbah Ser plot, and beyond.

I wish Galadorn was still around. His paladin is one of the very best I've seen here on Avlis.

Which Red Order mage do you want? Why, Fabello of course.

The One. The Only. The Red-Haired Elf we all Know and Love. Let's Hear it for Nawen. Seriously, that girl rocks.

Votes for Mikon's very own couple. Dala and Eneki.

Raves for Rade and her pack of Lycanthropes.

Let's change the rules this year, allowing all the Team members eligibility to cast and receive votes for RPotM. There is so much talent not being recognized.

I vote for Dala and Eneki. If it can have them out of hiding and come back!

Fabello is a wizards wizard, and an excellent addition to any crafting class well played and a great character.

Mirk is one of those characters that is so well done you often forget that it's galen PR-ing.

MISTRESS SORROWMOON is an excellent and believably portrayed priestess of the new goddess of undeath. The strength of her faith is readily apparent in any conversation you might have with her, as is her zeal to infect you with it - consensually, of course!

Yaru / "Four" ith an ethpethial pleathure to thee in acthion. Conthithtently thplendidly portrayed, dethpite her thevere lithp and inclinathion towardth verbothity, which taken together might have led a lether perthon to exthpire from the extherthion.

Rodrick Goodman carries his faith like a badge of honor and a badge of shame. It is his scarlet letter, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

Fabello. Oh, Fabello. Every ha! and hai! ring true, and you feel like you're only getting the tip of the iceberg every time you're around him. More, please!

Honorable mention goes to Mister Bithers and The Gentleman. We really need this brand of folk around all the time.

Dala has been my revelation throughout the year. The way she RP her faith to Mikon totally made me fall in love with the concept. She is a most exceptional partner to be with. xxx

Mister B is awesomely funny to be around. He doesn't need to say much and by just a few emotes, he can make me totally laugh behind my screen.

2018 was the year of Zhitaril!

Lots of stand out characters but these two have provided me the most consistent fun

Man, so many great characters listed here! So hard to pick! Great job to everyone all around <3

I didn't vote for Thaylis Beign because the poor man needs a break, desperately.

I've gotten to RP with Rade a lot over the past year and I have to say she's without a doubt become one of the cornerstone characters that's helped to shape mine into the one I play today. You really never know what you're going to get when you become involved in anything with her and being able to go into it all with that much uncertainty has made my play time all the more enjoyable. Kudos.

Yaru, that weird girl with the hot lisp is one my most favorite random encounters to have! The player really has that lisp down and never fails to implement it. It's so fun to read whatever she has to say and give it a voice.

It was a good year for Rhys'lryn and it was a personal joy getting to watch his rise from the lowly acolyte to the High Priest of Angadar. Many great adventures to speak of in between, as well as more than a few moments that make you realize just how he got his position.

Thomas 'Fucking' Bosh. Sums it up rather nicely. What the fuck else is there to say?

* in RPotY there were 20 ballots cast

Congrats to the winners.

And I like the note about how many ballots were cast.
