Then you must reconcile yourself to the fact that something is always hurt by any change. If you do this, you will not be hurt yourself.

You know you are old when you see Miami Vice clips in a video, and think "that was a good show" (the 80's hair alone would make me switch it off, if I ever tried re-watching it :P ).

So after Roy Clark's passing I kind of went down this rabbit hole of YouTube vids. I have never ( and still not) cared for country music at all, but I am a fan of great musicians, particularly guitarists. Roy sure as hell was one of those. I never appreciated how incredibly talented a player he was. I love this clip from the old " Odd Couple" tv show because it shows his versatility and range. The best bit comes at around the 5:30 mark when he goes into one of his signature pieces. It's cool how the bit ends with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall completely dropping out of character and just applauding and fanboying it up too.

So, I don't like the quiet when at work, and since the building is not radio wave friendly; I tend to pop into YouTube and start something and let it run on Autoplay. This time; I had Lindsey Stirling going; and things were fine. Then I got something new; this by FAUN. Ok; so I like it and listen to a few more by FAUN.

Then; I get a new recommendation. The Thumbnail looks interesting … so I go there. Looking at the title; I don't know what I'm going to get, but I play it anyway. Krigsgaldr just blows me away. I listen to a couple more and I had to listen to the entire concert. For about a week now. Maria's vocals are just out of this world. Hope you enjoy it.

One of the more safe for work things that keeps rattling around in my brain, that gets me some laughter when I'm asked why I'm smiling (besides Da Hoff and Astley ones I really do try to not think about):
Sam Tsui's cover of Andy Grammer's: Honey I'm Good

James Taylor - Fire And Rain (Live 1970)

Putzing around the toolset in Avlis areas, and running across some stuff we added in them, made me crank this tune up.

And since I keep getting jabs in PM, it ain't so green on the other side... but I do wish I could be in some other shoes at times :P
Wouldn't it be gud if...? 2 of my favorite old 80's performers to see in a close room show together... when they had hair.
