Reminder:

If you buy this for use on Avlis please email GoG to request an unique CD Key. This is free and will ensure that your connection on Avlis is distinct from everyone else's.

The default (Common) CD Key that is included with the basic package is blocked on Avlis - which would prevent you from logging in

Actually GOG just updated the process today (tomorrow according to the changelog: Update (2nd December 2016) - added CDKey Changer tool).

To play Neverwinter Nights online, you will require a unique CD key. It is located on your account (on the website, not in Galaxy client). Please input it in the Multiplayer Key Changer that you can find in the Start menu, or in Galaxy, under MORE -> Other -> CDKey Changer.

Changing the CD key will result in the premium modules (like Kingmaker) not working anymore, because they will use the default key for validation. To get around this, go to your My Account page and find the "premium modules re-installer", under the game's additional content. Download this file and install it. The modules will now be adapted to the new CD keys.

Please note that Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 master servers are no longer functional. You should use the Direct Connect option to log onto your preferred server via IP address.

Now there should be something in the start menu for the game to do it, so bonus for that. Also, the Player Registration info page on the wiki doesn't even need updating for it, since it is the same link.

I expect a bunch of new players this weekend, which is excellent timing with the Trade Fair. They had the last sale before the reunion, and now free copies before the Fair, which is amazing timing really. Be ready to meet and greet some new folks in game, and have fun!
