Re: Initiate ball
Well done Twigs for setting it up.
And everyone who participated, of course! It was a lot of fun to watch from the DM client side.

Re: Initiate ball
I was worried not enough people would show up for it to work. But enough people showed and everyone was great sports. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Kassha and Sam had been batting around the idea for that game for a long time. It was fun to finally do it!
I enjoyed the players, I enjoyed the commentators (Lili, Tor, the dm'd Red Mage refusing to bet with Artorius, other comments). Watching from the perspective of "the ball" was a lot of fun actually. Sam almost made it to the free-zone so many times only to be swapped at the last second. There were so many close calls and last minute saves. I saw a yellow player on goal, and as he was swapping Sam in a red swapped him (the yellow) out, so the yellow shot from the goal to the red's place to sam's place boom-boom-boom. Other moments were too pure-chaos to follow. Cheers to the players.
And a big thanks to Jazz and Refminion for dming and help with the setup.

Re: Initiate ball
Argh this sounds a lot more fun than my pathfinder game where we spent literally half the game talking to shrub. If anyone knows me well that is a particular kind of hell.

Re: Initiate ball
It was fun to watch and if my connect was more stable would have had Tor try to play, but as it was , had a hard time staying on just by having Tor stand and watch. Anyways, it was a great event and thanks you everyone that planned it and took part in it.

Re: Initiate ball
For a joke I've seen chucked about for a long old while, to find the reality was better than my imagination, was pretty awesome. Well done to everyone who set up, took part and especially twiggy. Yellow rules!

This sounds like a lot more fun than my work was. Sorry I missed it!

It was a really nice way of getting back here after a long time (thanks, Reunion newsletter). Fun people, very social, just like I remembered this place.
