RPotM August 2014 _ Results!

Post by Plethora » Thu Sep 18, 2014 7:44 am

First

:anmachen: Harmon Hull :anmachen:

Second

<[8) }8) Taruma }8) <[8)

Congratz to both! And thank to everyone for the wonderful voting turnout!

Where would the last two months have been without Avlis's baldest new double-act? Harmon Hull thinks that this Vote is an unworthy Elevation of a Few above the Many; Taruma thinks it's just lovely.

Froomsten plays such an excellent gnome, and really brings the "Whatever you need, I'll find a way to get it" side of a merchant out.

Jessie is a hell of a guy. Just all around fun at all times.

She talks, she priests, she makes tea, she's doing her Taruma things. More than that she's becoming an inspiration for moving towards her opposite alignment. A most unconventional take on the Forianite priest. <3

Givy's medic session was an interesting and refreshing initiative. You could feel she had put a lot of energy into it.

Robert as a cranky patient cracked me up.

There's an inexplicableness to Taruma's apparent thought processes that just makes her wonderful to interact with

AJ's dedication to his beliefs and stance when dealing with opposing views from other religious standpoints is an example worth aspiring to.

Alexis is always a pleasure to bump into and travel with. Inquisitive, dedicated and sure to go far!

If vows were easy, there would be little point to them, so Quin certainly likes to test herself, very much to her own detriment!

Harmon Hull: A character with depth, always interesting.

Taruma- Always fantastic, always a blast.

Just seeing Frannie is logged onto a server is as good a reason as any to jump in too! Bouncy, fun and forever a chuckle! (apparently she can sing a bit too... who knew!?!)

Kiara - Sassy, sexy, deadly... a veritable pin-up girl for the fantasy heroine

Legionnaire of the Academy of Boredom he is not. A fresh take on the Toranites, Harmon does no harm to their image, rather pulls them a little out of the dull old stereotypes.

Harmon Hull - Toranite awesomeness.

Taruma - Priestly awesomeness.

Paladin is very hard to do and Yanyu Choym has been playing that struggle, which is lovely to watch. She's learning and growing, and that's good role play.

Harmon Hull is a delight.

The two characters i voted for are the kind of guys who work hard to get a new breath of life into their guilds. Edge Dravenmore of the Order of Gorethar and Harmon Hull of the Sword of Toran. Keep on the great work guys!

Deeply thinking Gnoll philosopher with a bloody great big halberd! How rude is that? Tempted to buy you some ribbons Puddin' as you're always brushing your fur!

I don't think Mr Hull has ever sat down as that rod up his spine has been there for about four generations.

The Old Carek is Back, had a great month with him.

Harmon, is making a great job reviving those interesting SoT

Bymund always funny and a sweetie

Taruma's part trickster, part manipulator, part preacher, and part agitator, but wholly fun and always fresh and new. If only someone would put her on a leash!

Silver Fox: I have no idea how this player maintains such a high and consistent level of play after all this team, though I'm sure it helps that she's one mean old bitch who doesn't give a shit what you think. I mean, "welcome back!"

Harmon has been wonderful. Go Toranites!

Ulu is such a complex character, always have a great time with her.

Highly honorable mentions go to Froomsten Bartersmith, who's carved out an amazingly original niche and is entirely hilarious, Yanyu Choym, who fights like a hawk in the wild but has the projected lifespan of a canary in a coal mine, and Ishra Qiyun, because, well, he knows everything. And he makes sure you know that he knows that you know. Well done, everbody!

Two very fine characters making it easy to revive my own RP, Duhmash and Wok seem weak and puny but their characters are played with depth and consistantie..

Two of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, though can be added to a long list of wonderful people I have met in game

Taruma makes a person think, about a lot of things. Always a delight to Rp with her. Very interesting as well as fun.

Nala seems to be a kindred spirit in many ways, but also has her own path. My PC feels fortunate and honoured that at this moment it time they are sharing the same path, for now.

Ronan bring so much to Avlis, I'm ICly and OoCly glad he joined us here.

Congrats to both!
“People speak of hope as if it is this delicate, ephemeral thing made of whispers and spider's webs. It's not. Hope has dirt on her face, blood on her knuckles, the grit of cobblestones in her hair, and just spat out a tooth as she rises for another go.”

Congrats!
Then you must reconcile yourself to the fact that something is always hurt by any change. If you do this, you will not be hurt yourself.
