Scripting can be tedious aswell... Stuff like "Random(100)" Totally crashed my server, though "D100()", which does the same works perfectly

- As you gaze unknowingly into the seemingly infinite depths of the optics of this altogether passionate embodiment of insatiability, you experience a gradual realisation that the heavily-embellished vocabulary scattered lavishly throughout the sentence you are currently reading is indisputably nothing greater than a generous ration of masculine bovine faeces.
Hey Brick!
If my days of house looting have shown me anything, it's that you can get away with only using a handful of floorplans, repeated over and over. If you can even make 5 house interiors, then you can keep exporting them as .erfs w/ different names and re-importing them randomly. Instant city. *grin*

I'm a DM on World of Amon. Its a PW action server, actually there are three servers for it right now (Amon1, Amon2, Amon3) but two of them don't post to gamespy since we've kept them at 1.29 to accommodate some folks and give us an image to go back to if bioware screws us up in an update.
Its a big mod, at like 55MB in size and I was suprised today to check the servervault and see over 6000 accounts on the main server vault alone.
We're in the middle of a huge rewrite of the mod right now. The re-write project is 3/4 way done and we'd never qualify for CoPaP because we'll still run a mod with gear (slightly) more powerful than the bioware default with an in-game item level cap of 25 the mod has shrunk to 7MB.
In the meantime there is no gear loss on death (or corpses), gold and xp on death losses are 10% and we have ALOT of scripted adventures around the main module plot that are usually available since in this powerhouse the vast majority of players are 20th level. RP is something we would set specific times and events to indulge in, not the daily fare.
Its a fun place to beat things up if you're interested in keeping the company of generally warm hearted but violent people (I have a 20th on Neversummer, the two mods have a similar ambiance). I'll check my pm's if any of you want to come take a look around you can let me know while avlis is down.

is this page still unavailable?. I tried accessing the ftp site and was unable to connect. I would very much like to read the articles of confederation and then arrange to join the group. I dont know when I would have my world online - its well over 200 areas right now. and then there is the issue of getting a server setup , but i'm game to try.Jordicus wrote:CoPaP stands for Confederation of Planes and Planets.
There are documents describing the idea and stuff on the FTP site, but the FTP site is on the servers which are down.
Once it comes back up go to ftp://avlis.blackdagger.net and under public downloads look for some documents title CoPaP and Articles of Confederation or something like that
If anyone could post here or pm me the ftp information i would be most appreciative.
