Definitely a bad time to do this, but we need to take the serves down for 30 minutes, at 04:00 GMT. That's 1 hour from this posting. PJ is travelling, and needs to put the longterm battery backup online before he goes to bed.

Sorry, I know the faire is packed, but it's now or risk a 3-day outage while he's out of town.

DMs will make rounds 10 minutes before the servers are taken off line. Then they will be password locked until they are stable. So if you see them up and are unable to log on, please don't try repeatedly. Just be patient, we'll make another post when it's clear to log back in.

Again, we're sorry for the timing, but it's better now than risk 3 days of no Avlis *twitches at the thought*
