November RPotM RESULTS!

Post by Belasco » Wed Dec 02, 2009 12:18 am

We have a Three-way

(get your mind out of the gutter, people.)

TIE!

A Huge Congrats to:

ARCHIBALD THEL
HESTER GREENTHUMB

AND
SILVER FOX

__________________________________________________________________________
Comments:

The manliest character on Avlis. Silver Fox for November '09!

Anomandaari/Dust/Salve/Chuckles: OK, maybe Chuckles isn't one of his aliases, and he doesn't really laugh, but I'm implementing it right now. Your new name is "Chuckles", because it's the only thing that could make you more creepy. Our IG talks have always been interesting and fun.

I get depressed just writing the name Calilmalilmang Amaluisurr!

Galen - he should get Oscar for rp of his farts :P

Jazz is a lovable, perky lil' halfling who's a joy to RP with

Snarl : I never thought Verossans could be so cute!

Torok - because any player that is willing to stay in character to the detriment of that character gets my vote. A barbarian *should* kill you if you get on his bad side, or even if you just start casting spells next to him. There is no doubt that Torok's a barbarian, and I enjoy playing with him every time.

What needs to be said? Miriel just continues to provide excellence in game. I've never not had a good time around her.

Rye seems to have just had a very interesting encounter with a friend. And a totally unexpected one. His reaction was spectacular.

Aeveras is such a good character. Witty, clever, and fun. And he doesn't kill creepy little goblins.

Hester is just so believable and lovely, a perfect hin mage, sweet as candy!

Dan'eth is a breath of fresh air and masterfully played.

Brongar Steelbeard's burly dwarf persona is as consistent and reliable as the fantasy race he represents.

Skek creeps me out. Seriously... I think that's awesome.

Aeveras... what can I say. Authentic and believable, every time.

Kassha's an anchor in the RP arena.

Seylek just has really amazed me this month.

Tor is not your average stick-in-the-mud Paladin but is something of a ladies man. Heck he even shares a house with a female paladin and they ain't married! :D

Pantera McFadden kicks so much ass, both with a sword and with a RP. Kick that ass.

Say what you will about crafters... Dav and others like her go that extra mile to help newbies and lowbies get a foot in the door and start making their stories come to life. Dav is the poster child for a PC economy and the good that can come of it.
Silver always can be relied on for really solid RP. It's a shame she's evil. :(

Orfanos! Dude, what's with losing the accent? It just doesn't feel like the Orfanos I've known and loved. It's like he's this new horribly evil calculating dude and that scares me.

Anders = One word: Uuc.
Forget it, One word can't describe him...
Excellent RP can be found in the UD. This guy, as mysterious as he is, is a rare, beautiful flower that has grown in the depths of the UD. The traits of this flower are: Creepy to an infinite extent, schizophrenic, dangerous, dreamy, quite deep, insane? (But I do understand his insanity, isn't it strange??). You have to experience it!

Kate's just someone who has a whole history.. you can tell she takes all of it with her in every answer, a great character Rp'ed rather splendedly..

Freddy's antics amuse me greatly, but more than that, he's a vibrant and loveable character, the sort of dyed-in-the-wool bastard who nonetheless manages to (mostly) get away with it because of his style and cheeky charm. A real pleasure to be around.

Sammy isn't one of those characters I've had much chance to play with in the past, but the opportunities I do get confirm that he's a bona fide Avlis legend. Funny, interesting, and generous.

Silver Fox scares me in a good way.

Spiritor cause he's the easiest underappreciated paladin around.. I think he walks a fine line between a "normal" person and a tight ass paladin... well played throughout the years I know this character..

Pat Briams journal entries never fail to crack me up. Keep the great stuff coming!

Nothing is more awesome then milking one night of unfortunateness into a week of fun---- GO TEAM HESTER!

Roos, what more can I say then I will be your voice anytime, awesome different character concept.

What more can I say about Anomandaari?
He's after all the Puppetmaster of Avlis' Underdark. He pulls the strings. Probably yours too.

Moira's institutional knowledge of the most obscure Avlis detail is, at times, frightening.

This is late but you can't seriously think that Hester is anything but fun, even with a gammy leg.

Seylek? Grumpy and uncommunciative? I'll fight anyone who spreads such vile rumours.

Silver is cold bi**h, selfish, manipulating, plotting, gossiping... yet, I find something sexy in this.

Tinker - run fast, talk faster, fight with speed of light, but when she stops you can see different Tinker. I vote for Tinker behind curtain!

I've said it before, but it's a delight and a privilege to play with you all. Thanks!

Congrats everyone!

Hey, a question to the team, my comments from my votes didn't get shown. Are the ones shown just a sample or the ones given?

I leave for a few weeks and idiocy reigns supreme. Who voted for these people. All they do is RP and help people and act all nice. What ever happened to mindless grinders? I hate them all.

Generally, we post all the comments about PCs, groups, and Avlis in general. Anything directed at or about a DM gets posted Team side. We do read all of the comments to ensure no one's said something that shouldn't be public or could be taken as mean, which hasn't happened since we took over RPotM.
