Ok....since updating im having tons of problems with my computer and 1.69...
I have Vista...*kicks computer*
I'm running NWN as an administrator, changed it to run under XP2 service pak, uninstalled, reinstalled, added all the haks, changed it to run only on one core and STILL have issues...
it takes me three or more tries to even get to the login screen; usually it just shuts itself off--occasionally it crashes...
any time there is any combat IG at all, the game shuts off or crashes...
any time spells are cast IG, the game shuts off or crashes....
and intermittantly, my controls don't work--neither keyboard or mouse. I tried changing the mouse and it didn't help. I usually have to log out, reboot and start all over to get anything to even begin to work!!!
HELP *pleads*

Re: Vista Owners please help!!
The Spells sound like a graphics issue, and I had it as well. Updateing to the latest Nvidia drivers fixxed it. On a side note, it also fixed the candystrip textures.
As for launching into the game, don't use the launch, but run directly from a Shortcut to the NWNMain.exe. That works for me with no issues getting into the game.

Re: Vista Owners please help!!
Are you running from the X:\program files\neverwinternights\NWN folder? If so, try to change it to anything but the \program files\ folder, as this can cause problems. Vista really doesn't like any mucking about in programs folder, even if you're admin.
For order's sake, I like to use a X:\games\ folder for this purpose.
