Re: AB vs. Enchantment
and would +2 AB stack with say greater magic weapon (the spell) so in thoery you could have +7 to hit?dhocott wrote:+2 AB does bypass DRsinn wrote:quick questions for all that know

Re: AB vs. Enchantment
Nope. The only way to get that amount of AB/enhancement on a weapon is via the wonders of militant bonuses.sinn wrote:and would +2 AB stack with say greater magic weapon (the spell) so in thoery you could have +7 to hit?

Re: AB vs. Enchantment
so Attack Bonus on a weapon does NOT stack with greater magic weapon (the spell) ?Eklektikos wrote:Nope. for instance if you get a +3 temporary enchantment bonus from the spell on this dagger it would act as a +3 dagger to hit
or if you get a +1 temporary enchantment bonus from the spell on this dagger it would act as a +2 dagger to hit (since the AB was already +2)
correct?

I heard that it was an engine limitation and that AB will, in fact, bypass DR.sinn wrote:are you sure that AB does bypass DR, I just heard other wise...dhocott wrote:+2 AB does bypass DRsinn wrote:quick questions for all that know

Re: AB vs. Enchantment
Yep, makes the crafted weapons much better. I used a burning longsword in preference to a real magic weapons for ages, till I got really nice sword as DM drop.
