Vetinari: I have noted before that you have a definite anti-authoritarian streak, Commander.
Vimes: Sir?
Vetinari: You seem to have retained this even though you are Authority.
Vimes: Sir?
Vetinari: That's practically Zen.

World Bipolar Day is today! Specifically picked on Vincent Van Gogh's birthday as it is widely believed he had it. Did you know, most of his most famous works were made during times of healing, rather than manic or depressive episodes?

Not strictly related to bipolar, but a song I came across when I was in a really bad place and thus vibed pretty hard to it, the english metal cover for Bad Apple!!

The Original Japanese Bad Apple!!
The English Metal Cover of Bad Apple!!

Will tomorrow ever come? Will I make it through the night?
Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light?
Am I hurting am I sad?
Should I stay or should I go?
I've forgotten how to tell
Did I ever even know?
Can I take another step?
I've done everything I can
All the people that I see
They will never understand

Each instrument belongs to one of your companions. Normally you only hear one at a time, but when together...
Outer Wilds - Travelers (All Instruments Join)

Outer Wilds is the best game I have ever played, and yet sadly it's an experience you can only go through once. Information is progression, so once you learn everything, there is nothing left to replay. Still, it left such a powerful impression on me that I still see it as the best thing I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

I can't really say much without spoiling anything. Know that it is a game about exploration, discovery, awe, and fear. If you love the base game, the DLC, Echoes of the Eye, is a great follow-up, and works best once you know most of the secrets of the base game.

"Look at you, hacker! A pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my corridors. How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?""

I low-key like the System Shock 1 remake over System Shock 2. Maybe not a fair comparison. SHODAN is much more of a menace in the first game, and I kinda like the old-school design of wandering confusing mazes and having to write stuff down on a notepad because the game will not remember that door code for you. Or tell you what you even need to do. Hope you were paying attention to those audio logs.

Also the laser rapier in the remake is sick as hell.

Our way of life, galaxy wide, paved with the skulls of those who've died.
Helldivers 2 - Super Earth National Anthem

I have 700+ hours in this game. It's loads of fun. I think the national anthem does a good job of getting a good glimpse that is the satirical dystopian nightmare glorious perfect regime that is Super Earth.

Coincidentally when Fishbait was attacking Avlis, the Illuminate (nicknamed squids by Helldivers) also made their debut. So I was fighting squids on two fronts lol.
Helldivers 2 - Illuminate Combat Theme

And another song.
Helldivers 2 - Extraction Theme

And because I played the first Helldivers and prefer many of the songs in the first game.
Helldivers 1 - Cyborgs Difficulty 9+

"Have a nice cup of liber-tea!"
"SWEET LIBERTY, MY LEG!"
"Helldivers never die!"
