Avlis CoPaP Portals

Do not use any portals from Avlis to other CoPaP worlds until further notice. The move caused some problems with Avlis' Vaultster. This is most likely a port issue, and I do not have an ETA for a fix at this time.

Really sorry if this is a stupid question but does that mean coming from CoPaP worlds to Avlis aswell?

Especially.

For the most part, leaving Avlis *should* work, but getting back wont until a problem is fixed.

I was wondering if we could get the craft xp transfer to other worlds fixed, while this issue is being taken care of? Several CoPaP worlds are up to date on Alvis' code, use similar/compatible systems, and skill levels/acquisition should be complimentary. And they already have the transfer turned on, on their own end.

I am not a team member, but I imagine they would make fixing the portals top priority. What is the point if letting the crafting xp transfer if you cant get your character back to avlis in the first place?

Re-enabling this involves doing things entirely seperate from what is needed to be done to get the portals fixed. Fixing the portals only involves a few things outside of the moduels, where fixing the crafting XP transfer involves changes to the modules themselves.

UPDATE:

Portalling from other CoPaP worlds TO Avlis is working.

Portalling FROM Avlis to other CoPaP worlds is not working for the Tairis link only at this time.

The link is now working both ways again, but the Avlis -> Tairis direction is a bit spotty. We keep experiencing BIC send time outs.

The problem is that players are still getting logged in even though the BIC send timed out. This is an already known bug and we've been looking for a fix for a while now. Hopefully soon.

You may use the portals again, but remember that it is at your own risk.
